Post and Poster ISSUES !

Dear Mods'

If you notice any thread where a poster is posting copied / duplicate content, promotional links, multiple spams then please send us the url in this thread instead of starting multiple threads.

Moderators are also requested not to use EXTERNAL links REPEATEDLY in their posts as it may be tagged as over-promotional by Search Engines. Please deactivate EXTERNAL links or use DebtCC INTERNAL links instead.

Jason

This thing?

Get into edit mode. Either select the link, or position your cursor within the linked text. Then click the tool icon. Shazam! No more link.

[QUOTE=Jason;724338]Anya you can still use the click-able text link but it should ONLY be .gov / .edu related. For other info related sites (which are used REPEATEDLY) you need to de-activate them. Say for e.g instead of http://www.abcd.com just type abcd.com

We are doing this to minimize the use of external links from our site.

Mornin' Jason -

What of directly-related links, specifically the blog in my sig? I'll deactivate it if you like.

No man, No problem. We all want more of Wulfisms.. :)

Members and Mods are allowed to keep a maximum of four links in their signature and as per new rules Debt Consolidation and Settlement companies (commercial link) must register with us first and use the link that WE will provide.

Good question KS !!

You can post quality informative (.org) links (when required) but make sure it's not repeated too many times. From search engine's point of view a site is negatively affected if they find too many external links in a site. So we are laying stress on minimizing external links. If you have a very good non commercial informative site, you can always keep it in your signature.
