loan troubles

i have a school loan from citi bank since it is a private they told me I can not forbear the loan or defer it any longer. I have been out of school for a year, does anyone have an advice on what to do ? it will me much appreciated

Although some private loan companies may allow deferring your payments, Citibank doesn't. The best thing that you can do with a private loan is pay them off. It's not good to default on your loans since it dents your credit report that takes years to recover and there’s always a chance that the loan provider may sue you.

If you're unable to make the payments with your current job, try to get a second job. You can also try online jobs where you can work at your convenience and earn some extra cash. If you've stuffs in your house that you don't use, you can sell them online or go for 'yard sale'. All these options will allow you to earn some extra cash which might help you to pay off your loan faster.

This truly cracks me up! Like it is very feasible to hold a yard sale every month for the next 20 years to make that 500 dollar a month payment.
