Hi Guest,
Can you just check and confirm that whether it's JRM or RJM?
First check out that your account is still with Wachovia or not. Don't be intimidated by the pre-charge off collection tactics. If it's been assigned to or sold off to any collection agency then, you can get the info from the original creditor. So if it's not too late, you can request your creditor for pulling out the account from the collection agency as it draws a negative impact on your credit score too. But if it's already been charged off, then chalk out an affordable payment plan and get prepared for a negotiation.

Couple things Chris....if the account has been sold, you cannot get info from the original creditor....they sold it and no longer own it.
Secondly, when an account is placed at a CA, it is done so under contract with that CA. The OC cannot just pull back an account because the debtor requests it...that is a violation of the OC/CA contract. In most cases, the OC wont want to deal with charge off/placed accounts and waste their manpower hours when they either dont own it anymore or they are paying someone else to collect it.
