I got the following letter from Discover today. Is this there last attempt to collect before charge-off or does it look like they are goiung to sue me directly.

If we do not hear from you by 8:00pm Eastern time on November 30, 2009, your account will be forwarded to an Attorney to obtain a judgement against you.

DFS Services LLC is either the parent or a subsidiary of Discove
DFS Services LLC is either the parent or a subsidiary of Discover card, so it would appear they are going to sue you directly.
It's a scam
A call from that number is calling folks asking for their social security numbers. It's not the real "Discover card" company and they probably just targeted you because you have a discover card. I would call your credit card company (not the number on the letter) and ask them if there is anything pending on your account.
