we are cosigned on our college grads student loans and we need to get him off to refinance our home. who can he go to to get a loan on his own. he tried one place and was turned down. he has excellent credit.

Nobody is refinancing or consolidating private student loans right now. This is the risk you take when you cosign on private student loans. Some lenders do allow the release of the cosignor after 24 months of on time payments. Check your prom note.
