IRS 3rd Party Contact Procedure
I was wondering if anyone here could tell me when the IRS would consider it necessary to contact a person's neighbors, and the type of questions the IRS would ask them -- as I'd hate to have my neighbors know I'm having financial problems.
Thanks very much in advance for any help anyone could give me.
