Just settled with CHASE for 32%!


After not making payments since Dec 08, I called Chase and offered to settle the account for 30% after about 30 seconds on hold they countered with $3500 or 32.8%. Needless to say this is a big weight off my shoulders, and I'm happy I came across this forum. I little research saved me thousands. I'm glad to say Im back on track with my financial obligations.


Congrats! I'm about to settle with Chase on a deficiency balance owed from a car repo. I'm going to try to get the amount as low as I can. I felt I was pretty screwed over by the price they got for my car. It was a 2003 Monte Carlo with absolutely nothing wrong with it, and they said they only got $1800 for it.

Which left me owing about $4,000. Hopefully they will settle for 30%. That will make the money I'm getting to settle my debts stretch a bit further!

:DThat's awesome! I was able to settle my Chase business credit card for 35%. It was nerve wrecking for me too when it came down to the wire on my debt settlement negotiations.
