Student loan/credit report question
For my private loans, I haven't had a late payment since 2007. This is reflected on my credit report. That's fine as I know it's the law.
My co-signer is trying to get their mortgage refinanced and the bank doesn't seem to believe that I'm paying my student loans on-time. Even though it says right on my credit reports that I have been on time for 2 years!
So my question is, where exactly is the law that says that student loan companies HAVE to report everything accurately?
Currently I'm waiting for AES to send me the proof the bank requires. But in case this happens again, I'd like to be able to show them the specific law that talks about student loan credit reporting.

Sounds like the bank needs to take another course in reading credit reports.
