in Jan, I want to make a payment on my loan and I was


On Jan. 15,2009 I was denied when I was trying to make a payment on my student loan, because i called to make a payment on the 15 for the 28. but the lady would not take my card number to set the payment up and told me that I could not make a payment on the 28 of jan. because it would be to late to make a jan. payment. An then she told me to borrow the money and call her back. 2 weeks later my income tax was off set. because of that witch. do I have the right to make a payment on a debt i owed? I need help to find this out because I'm going after them but I need info to back it up


also how do you find out if the collector has a licensing to operate in that state legally. also the collector was contracted out by our own Federal Gov. and on the BBB website has an F rating and on the web I can find more then 1000 complaints and civil suits and personal law suits against the collector

All collectors and agencies working government contracts are licenced.....there are very strict rules.

Sorry, but your taxes had a lien placed on them in Novemeber or December by your guarantor because you are in default, not because your january payment was late.

Your loan balance is due in full upon default.....you really have nothing to go after them for.

first I was home-less with two kids when they put the lien on in in july 2008, january is when I contacted them after we moved off the streets to make payment arrangements and I was told that they would no off-set the loan if I made my payment that day the 15 and I got my unemployment on the 28 when I want to play was she able to denied my payment, " if we forget about the lien or off-set" say I called to make a payment and she denied me because I could not make it that day but a week later is she able to do that. also I notified them in jan07 when we became home-less to let them know that I could not receive mail or phone calls and the sup. at Direct loans took no action about me being home-less and when they say they sent out the off-set notice in july08 my family and i were sleeping in a car and we slept in that car and shelters and motels for 22 months

that play is *pay* our electric is shut-off because of the off set and they say they would give half or all of it back if I could prove Financial hardship which I had a hardship on the loan until we became home-less, but back to proving we are losing ever thing because of the off-set our car electric etc... and they say in letter that i got today that i was denied because I do not have a financial hardship
