Legal Affidavit Office/Hudson Law Firm

Last week I began receiving calls from a person who identified himself as Calvin with Legal Affidavit Office and sometimes Hudson Law Firm.  He started by saying he had a lawsuit against me and the messages he left sounded like he was reading off of a script!  He called my work multiple times and my cell phone 7 times within 1 hour.  All of the messages he left were exactly the same and ended with "Call back on this number or you will be in big damn trouble."  I ignored them the first day.  The next day he said that he is investigating a lawsuit for fraud and other charges and I am in big damn trouble."  The phone number he left was 323-704-4565.  When I called this number back the Indian speaking person answered as Legal Affidavit Office.
Does anyone know anything about these people?  Do they really have a lawsuit?

Well, I answered the phone today, after them repeatedly calling my work. The man said he was calling regarding a lawsuit. I told him I was recording the call(not really). He had previously called and spoke with my coworker who insisted on a mailing address for this company. They gave a mailing address, but it doesn't exist. He hung up on her and called me right back on my cell.

I asked him for a phone number for my attorney to call him - he said no - you have my phone. I told him it was not a legitimate phone number and the address was bogus as well.

He got very angry and said "You are calling me a scam? You will be sorry...the lawsuit is being downloaded." I said, "Thank you very much for threatening me on a recorded call." He said I would be arrested soon and very sorry about what is about to happen to my social security number.

I hung up, but now I feel like I just can't take it. The calls are non-stop and they are pushing me over the edge. I wish I had never gotten myself into this mess.

You really need to file a police report, you should also contact your cell phone service provider and let them know about this. Please report this to your Attorney General and the FTC, you can file complaints online. This is a scam and has been ongoing for quite some time now. I feel for you.

Hi I'm new to the board but wanted to report the same thing. I received a call on my cell, the man had a thick accent but an america name. I cut him off and asked him to supply me with proof of said "lawsuit" he got nervous and started stammering, he said he would but his manager on, when I looked at my phone, he hung up on me.

There is no way this is professional. The Pakistani/Middle Eastern guy "John" from Hudson Law Firm is also threatening me (S.Carolina) with lawsuits for fraud. Told me to just give him my debit/credit card number over the phone and all charges would be dropped. I started questioning the "suit" and wanted more information, and he got pretty testy. At one point (many calls later) he called me a "motherf****" ! He also said that he worked with a law firm and he could do "whatever the f*** he wanted". Please watch out for these scammers. The caller ID was (810) 673-056 .... not a full number. The number to call him back was (213) 232-5938

These people are unbelieveable. I started getting calls a couple weeks ago and once I googled them found out what a scam they were. I started telling them that I wasn't giving them any money, I knew they were a scam and to stop calling. They stopped for a couple weeks but now I just got 3 calls in 5 minutes. I reported it last time to the FTC but how freakin' long can they keep doing this?!? They are calling me at work and it's just ridiculous. I have no idea how they got my phone number here. Anyone know how they start this scam?

I have been getting calls from 2 different companies suddenly with the same thing. They all are Indian sounding with American names. threatened to file charges. I told them that was fine as I didnt owe and he said if I paid $100 to stop the filing, he would give it back in 3 mos. I got all the info I could and have reported them to the local FBI and BBB. I will provide all info here, too. names are: Hardy Henderson, Kevin Jackson, Ken Johnson, and Jack watson. Sd they were from State Dept of Fed Banking Fed and Hudson Law but email they gave was Cashadvance@tx.usa.com. and attorneyusa@directlawyer.com (like that makes it convincing they are lawyers! hahaha) fax #: 206-339-1915. phone #s are: 573-340-5381, 810-676-0743, 916-395-0000, and 281-661-4005. They have done everything to try and convince me, but it is just a joke. Their address is 5015 Rusk St, Houston, TX. They question my criminal history (which I dont have) and will say anything to get you to give them money. When I told them they needed to send it to me in the mail if they trully wanted to serve me, they said that was fine and didnt hear back except phone calls. they call my work, my cell 7 times in 8 minutes. I spent an hr on the phone with them at lunch today, just to have them call me back 2 hrs later like we never talked! report them to your local FBI agency.

I am getting a call from David at Hudson Law Firm like 3 times every 15 minutes. He says I owe for a Payday loan from months ago. I never received a payday loan. He told me that if I don't pay over $700.00 right now then they are gonna take me to court and I have to pay court cost of over $7000.00 or I will be arrested. I ask for proof of this debt and they said after I pay it off they will provide proof of payment but the client doesn't wish to talk to me and give me any documents pertaining to the original loan. How can get away with this. They have my SS # and my adress and phone #. Where did they get it. What can I do to make them stop calling.

I received a call this week. When I returned the call I was told I had multiple law suits being charged against me. He told me it was from a payday loan I did in December 2010. He had my SSN and my old bank information. In November I was scammed by a man in Florida so I closed my account. I now believe they are selling information between scammers to try and get us. The person who called me was Eddie Turner from Hudson Law Firm out of Seattle WA. He said he was pursuing legal action on a loan from Cash Advance.net and I owed $350.32. I looked up Cash advance and it went directly to Cashadvance.com, which has a scam alert on their page. It also states on the page that they are not a lender that they will refer you to lenders. The phone number they called from was 253-242-2572. They said the company number was 425-998-1321. All the people we spoke with had Indian accents, were hard to understand, and had American names, Kevin Jordan, Eddie Turner, and Paul Bell. My husband called back and requested information and they said I owed $476.16. We asked for the legal documents to be emailed and they said they would email it. When we asked again we were told we would have to go to the courthouse to get a copy. I know as a CITIZEN that I am to be served with legal documents if I am being sued. How am I suppose to go to the courthouse when I live in another state. We asked them for a web address to look them up and we were told to do a search on Hudson Law Firm. We also asked for and address and were given 302 Peninsula Tower, Seattle WA 30284, which I was unable to locate. When we started questioning more, they got rude, said they had to meet with the Attorney General in 2 minutes and could not talk to use anymore. I'm glad I researched this more and did not fall for their scam. I hope others question them as well and we can put an end to those who scam on us who are barely making it.

This started with me about a month ago. Thick accent with an American sounding name, something real generic like John Smith. They were from American Law Office or something. They told me I had a loan with a company that I did not. I said "you're fraudulent", and his response was "I know". Calls stopped for a couple of weeks, and now they're calling from a different number and different law office, again with a company I have no affiliation with and with the same thick accent. They told me I'd be sorry when I received the legal documents, and I said go ahead and send them and demanded they never call me again. The things they say to you are nothing a true professional would ever say.

I just recieved a VM and decided to call back. I knew it was a scam as soon as this Indian guy said his name was Patrick Martin....WTF? When I called back to get a few laughs, I could not understand a word he said and I heard a bunch of ppl in the background making noises not typical in a law firm.
I then asked to speak to someone who could speak the english language. He then handed the phone (not transfered) which made me laugh and the person stated that his name was Steve Austin. I said, who, the Wrestler? He replied that I will go to jail. He must have thought I was stupid. There is no jail time for a 400 balance on a "payday loan"! Are you kidding me. An attorney would never say such words. This is a scam and I'm glad to have found this forum. I called back to let them know that I will be calling the FBI and their response was; go f yourself....NICE!
I hope these guys get the big time shaft! I wish I was able to track them down.....

Names:
Steve Austin and Patrick Martin
Phone number they called from:
760-282-4573

I just received a call on my office phone from these scammers claiming there was a lawsuit against me?!? It doesn't take the sharpest tack in the shed to know right away this is a scam. In addition, I am a former special agent who used to investigate this type of scum. Playing along with the caller, I told them to contact my lawyer and gave them the name and number of the first attorney I could find in the yellow pages! Ha ha....

I received threats from them too stating how I need to contact them with my attoenry or they are going to have me arrested at my place of employment or home. They Mention they are calling from a law firm but did not mention what law firm just wanted me to call them back. I did a reverse look up and it was a cell number(281-661-4005)! That was the latest of many calls they have made. They tried the Hudson law firm but refused to give and address to the place or a number my attorney to reach them at. They even tried calling me acting like he was the New york police officer and that I needed to call him. I spoke with him same guy that has been calling me for months. He threatened me again bout a lawsuit I told him to send the paperwork. I have never received it! I contacted the New York Police Department and filed a complaint against them. They told they have been getting lots of complaints with the same motis operanda. Every other month same people contact me trying a new ploy. They use the same names (American). They appeared to be reading script. I have already filed complaints againtst them with BBB and the local authorities.

I too have been being bombarded with calls by these middle eastern people with american names. They have called me from 206-629-9392, 305-434-4079, 213-545-6572 and 282-726-2524, they are all middle eastern and yes it does sound like they all read from the same script because every voicemail I have sounds exactly the same. They have said they were calling from the Department of Law? What department? Where? and from Hudson Law Firm. They have identifed themselves as Dominic, Paul, Anthony, Kelly Smith and Kevin Brown. After we called them out and let them know we knew they were full of crap, they started threatening us and when the guy hung up on me because I went off on him, I called back, repeatedly, so did my fiance. We called from my cell phone, his cell phone and our gmail account at the same time. I told them if they were going to harrass me, I would harrass them. And I did. Dont pay any attention to those people, if they say there is a pending law suit against you, tell them to kiss your a$$ and let them know you are reporting them to their local FBI office, and the attorney generals office.
