tax refunds...
Two quick questions...
1. If I have a judgement/garnishment against me to pay a credit card debt and have been paying can they also take my tax refund?
2. Does having a garnishment against you and other outstanding debt (not child support) can I still obtain a passport?

1. No. Only federal debts can take your taxes. 2. Debts are

2. Debts are civil matters and have no bearing on getting a passport.
