Refunds coming early?

Nope.. got mine the day it said it was.. but last year I think I got it a few days early.

We got our Federal tax return about 5 days earlier than we thought, but we are in NC and it seems that the state is taking their dear sweet time in getting our state refunds to people. Something about keeping the budget in the positive. There was a news article saying that the state is being given 45 days past the tax filing deadline (April 15th) to get the refunds to everyone before interest starts being tacted on. I think it totally stinks because they sure don't want to give a tax payer an extra 45 days to file and pay their taxes before they start adding on fees! Got to love NC and the new Govenor!

Well i am in PA and my husband I were suppose to get our taxes on April 8th and they changed it to April 14th and now it is suppose to be here April 21st. So yeah they changed it three times on us.

I had the same thing happen to me. It turns out they're reviewing alot of returns this year because of the stimulus money and the amount of dependents. I eventually got mine but it was about a month after the what they actually told me I was going to get it.
