private and federal loan mix
i am currently in debt 80000k in sallie mae loans. would i be able to get a federal loan and reconsolidate my sallie mae loans with a direct student loan.
i am also a teacher.
how can i get out of this debt that i'm in?

Your private or alternative loans cannot be consolidated together with federal loans.
You cant really get out of the debt....you just have to learn to manage it. Consolidating your federal loans is a good start.
Also read the public service loan cancellation sticky at the top of this forum. Google teacher loan cancellation programs....
