Arrow financial, no calls, no paperwork, ????????
I used to make payments over the phone with Arrow but then they stopped calling. Even during this time they simply would be evasive as to sending me something in the mail.
5 months later they put an inquiry on my CR.
I called and made the dumb mistake of agreeing to a payment plan but the gentlemen would not send me anything in writing unless it was
1. pay in full letter
2. settlement letter
He then tried to settle over the phone and kept pushing the issue, which i declined
He then tried to obtain checking account information to set up payments over the phone, which i declined
He then asked where i worked, I declined
He then tried told me the only way to get my "payment arrangement" in writing was for ME to send a payment in first.
Then the letters would start coming.
Bottom line, i am not excited to pay as i get nothing in the mail, was told to never make payments over the phone again, and more or less discuss arrangements anymore, to request a DV letter if they call.
I guess it's just wierd, they don't call, write or anything..
what should I do?
I guess im afraid like some people they will out of the blue slap me with a lawsuit without doing the above things mentioned, like send any documentation as I have requested.
What should I do??? I know this company is shady at least from hearing people on this forum. I live in PA, work in NJ. I don't have a lot of money left over and to tell you the truth if they sent me documentation or something i might be more willing but I am not even sure of where my money would go?
The payments I made over 5 months ago, they won't send me a payment history or anything.
I guess im confused and worried.
Tommy....I already explained to you. Student loans are bound
Tommy....I already explained to you.
Student loans are bound by prom notes...you agreed to pay in full on demand. Giving you any payment plan is a courtsey and student loans just do not put plans in writing.
They also do not have to chase you down. Arrow doesnt have to call you. You had a payment plan in the past and you didnt honor it. Your days with no payment are such that they are not dont bother attempting contact and there is no law requiring them to do so.
Ok so then can you advise me if there was a judgement agains
Ok
so then can you advise me if there was a judgement against me what would most likely happen. I have no assets, i live in PA...
