Saving on cable TV and/or satellite costs

Here's a good article for those who want to save money on their cable/satellite TV bill:
redtape.msnbc.com/2009/02/as-you-scan-dow.html

Or go and check out your public library ... you'll be amazed at the number of DVD's and VHS Tapes that even the small town public libraries stock on their shelves ... you borrow them for free!

or get rabbit ears, they should get you a few channels at minimum, more if you live in a good area

I go online at work all the time (I'm at work right now, lol), so that's why I don't really miss the internet. Technically, I'm supposed to be working, and I think I would really be in trouble if they knew the extent to which I am actually online. I do a lot of writing in forums and articles for Associated Content, so if my job really knew, they might not like it, lol.

I do get Netflix, though, and that keeps me entertained. Besides, not having the internet to me isn't really that big a deal because it encourages me to do things that are not online like work on my writing, read a good book, clean my house, go out with friends, visit the library, go to a park, and things like that. Plus, I live close to a Panera, so whenever I get bored and need a quick Internet fix, I can just pop over to Panera and use some of their generously offered free wi-fi.
