I think it's a difficult decision when when it comes to figuring out which debt settlement/consolidation company to work with. You'll find lots of people who have different experiences and answers to your questions...which of course I think is great...you may find a different perspective that may have been unknown before...

Anyway ~ my point is...I wish you the best in working with this company. Do a search on this site for the company name and you'll find lots of other information. Many times people do have difficulties when it comes to working with these companies and find themselves in more of a mess than they had when they first started...that is especially true when they are for-profit businesses.

The best advise I think I can give is if you choose to continue working with them...make sure you stay on top of every little detail. I would even call each creditor and find out if they did actually agree to work with them & let them know when payments should be received. I remember a long time ago...I worked with a company because I thought it would be an easier way out of a tough spot. I let them know how much I could pay each month which wasn't a lot....and they divided it with the creditors. That was all great and everything but I was still accruing late charges and over limit fees. That was because my payments were way too low and I wasn't even covering the added charges each month. Be careful and I'm sure you'll be fine :)

If all else fails...remember that you can do the same work yourself...and save yourself the cost of the service fees.

Sorry this was long - I hope you found it helpful :)

~ Debra

getting out of debt was not as fun as it was getting into debt. I did not want to deal with the creditors and I did not want to be in debt for 15 years. I worked with Resqdebt because they are a legitimate company with a large amount of customers, there were other companies who were cheeper but they were working out of their house. If you can avoid your creditors calls and just let them do the talking, it will all work out.

Why would you sign up then ask? It doesnt make much sence to me that you would sign up and then try to find out information on the company. You should know these facts before signing on. You need to know all the facts about the company how they work, how much they charge, reputation,so that you dont get scammed. Do your research first not last.

got the sales pitch, check web sites, 95% bad. already died under another company now in jai and disbarred. these folks don't even pretend to represent you nor block creditors or thier paid vultures National Arbitration Forum (what a joke). Has ANYONE actaully survived this company. I can fake anything on a web site, that is no proof. The letters from banks are also very easily faked. I need PROOF and fast.

in trouble,

Many people have quote on quote - survived RESQDEBT. Matter of fact, we have many of these customer results published on our website. I will be releasing some company news within the next 2 weeks that will expand on these results even more.

Unfortunately, it does not seem that you have had success with another company. It is sad to see this. The RESQDEBT program takes commitment. From what I have seen is that a percentage of people leave our program because they lack this commitment. These customers left the program not because the company failed them, but they left because they were not committed to saving money to pay off their debt. They in fact failed themselves.

Whatever their reason for not wanting to do the work to get out of debt, the company can???t force someone to change their spending habits, save money, and stop buying on credit. However, the company can and does provide tools, education and advice on how to do this along with negotiation services that save people money off of their debt.

If you are ready to get out from under your credit card debt burden RESQDEBT can help. Stay committed to saving towards your settlements. If you have questions, never be afraid to make a phone call to ask for answers. Even if you do not choose to go with the company, please get help somewhere. Credit card debt is easier to get into than to get out of.

If you or anyone else have further questions please notify me on my profile here on this forum. I will personally make sure that your concerns are addressed.

Thank you,

Heath Tudor

Resqdebt is too new of a company to have any type of statistical data on graduation rates from the program. Are they a spin off of CSA? The public doesn't know for sure, but there are several top level employees that came from CSA. Is it possibly a transitions company for CSA to take their place? Maybe. Only time will tell. I can't say anything bad about resqdebt because I have not worked there or gone through their program. I am very closely tied to several other setllement companies with proven records that I would suggest, but I'm not on this board to market the service or another company, just to answer the questions as best I can.

I would suggest doing as much research as you can before making any decisions. For me, ResqDebt did not work out. Only heard from them one time regarding a settlement. Got a letter from Discover threatning to file a judgement with an attorney. When I spoke to ResqDebt they said that was a good thing and that they would work with the creditor all the way up until the judgement is filed. I decided not to take that risk. When I told them I wanted out of the program they said no problem but also gave me their speach about how they could get a settlement today or tomorrow if I stayed with them. If they can get a settlement that quickly, where were they a month or 2 ago? My creditors were calling at least 6 times a day, starting at 8am, even on Saturdays and Sundays. Also, I'm told we won't get any refund from them. Don't make any commitments until you've done your homework.

Don't do it!!!! Your creditors can, and will sue you. I have worked at this company doing sales, and settlements. Your credit will be ruined period. I know it will take years for you to get out of debt, but like all mortgage companies and financial advisors tell you "just keep making the minimum payment "sorry folks you wanted the merchandise, now you have to pay for it. It's that simple. If you have money to pay these people, pay your creditors. This is a spin off from CSA for sure, the same people, the same sales pitch..call CSA, then call Resqdebt see for yourself...My consience would not let me keep lying to people, and ruinining their lives. I quit and I am very happy now.
