Long long to payoff?

i would think it depends on the size of the debt.some they might request be resolved in a shorter time.

I would just call them and ask. AS Paul said, it probably depends on the amount of debt, but I am sure there is a time limit.

We have had to pay them on several occasions and have never had any problem with them.

I had a state tax debt from 1996 , was filed as a tax lein on my credit report in 2000 at double the amount owed, and finally able to pay it off in 2005, and it still is on my report. Cant figure that one out. so in answer to your question, pay as soon as you can or more fees get added

Rocknd, it will stay on your credit report 7-10 years (depending on state)from the last day that you paid it in full, not the orginal date that it was reporoted.
