Private Loan consolidation - anyone know of good companies??

There is a link above to a ranking chart. It lists companies by state and contains feedbacks and a star rating system. That would be a good place to start.

In order to consolidate private loans you really have to have better credit now than when you borrowed them to make any difference. Plus most charge origination fees which will be added to your balance.

Keep in mind that private loans do not have to offer income sensitive or lower payment plans like the feds do.

Yeah private loans are so much more strict...I blindly used them a couple years ago (never bothered reading terms or anything just went ahead and did it) because I was desperate for money and now the grace period is over and in simple terms, I'm screwed

Even though I'm still in school, the type of loans I got are only good for 2 years and then you have to pay them back, no ifs ands or buts
