Does any body have any info about National Prime Lending ?

I am not familiar with that particular lender or company. However, if any company asked you to pay an up-front fee in order to obtain a loan, you can be assured that it IS a scam. This is a very popular scam right now, and unfortunately, many people have been a victim.

Can you provide more details on why you feel you were scammed?

basically i moneygramed them with the amount of funds to provide security for the loan amount. a the time it made a lot of sense. i could definitely understand that with my poor credit i would need to provide some means of securing the loan. i had no idea this was a popular sort of scam flag. i was and am very desperate to obtain a loan to get all of my bills current. im a graduate student who is also recently sparated, so ive had to undergo 2 bouts of moving, once to the city from several states away - and then across town. i receive a professional stipend from the school, enough to pay my bills. i just dont have enough to pay all of the behind amounts i have.

so on a side note, if u have any ideas on where i can turn, id love to hear them.
