I couldn't understand who the girl said she was with and I got all upset and ended up hanging up on her. I told her not to call me again and she told me I need to study the FDCPA and that they can call me anytime. Any help would be appreciated.

"NRF, how can I help you".
Sounded like the woman said "NRF". A Google search says "NRS". Possibly this: nrs.us

I think that you are right jedi I looked up their website and found this interesting in the introduction: We begin working as soon as we receive your batched accounts. The first letter is sent within 24-hours followed by an intense calling campaign. We continue to contact the debtor until the debt is paid or arrangements made.
We strictly adhere to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. We work collections daily as allowed under federal and state laws. NRS is licensed and bonded in all required states and all licensing is on file. We are regulated and subject to audits
So my question is this if they are following the fdcpa then they should have no problem validating the debt.
