Anyone heard of Asset Managment LLC in UT?

This company is harassing me non-stop and not granting my requests for a copy of the debt details and they will not give me the contact info of the original creditor. The original creditor has never attempted to collect from me, so needless to say I do not know what this debt is for.

I know this is totally illegal on the part of the Asset Company, and I do plan on filing a complaint, but just wondering if anyone else has dealt with them. They seem very sketchy, like they are trying to use scare tactics on me.

Hi mjewell

You can pull your latest credit report and see your latest financial standing. You will get the details information of your unpaid accounts.

Regarding Superior Asset Management, you can contact them at 727-524-6990 and send a letter through mail to validate the debt. If they are unable to validate you can get the negative information removed from your credit file by them.

Hi Roxette-

This debt is not on my most recent credit report. I think you are talking about a different company. Asset Management LLC is in Utah with area code 801.

I have written them 3 letters now requesting the details of the debt and the contact info of the creditor and they are ignoring my requests - I have also asked them in my letters to stop calling me and only respond via USPS, but they continue to ignore my requests and still will not give me the info I am asking for. The last letter I sent them was certified so I would know they have received it - it was mailed to their location on Sept 1 and they still have not claimed it.

Hi mjewell

Since you have made your legal efforts to know the details of your debt, you are in safe side. If they don't validate the debt or do not stop calling you, you can file your complaints at the police station, FTC, BBB and your state attorney general office.

You can also take legal help for this purpose.
