Our New Point System for Forums
We have introduced a new point system in our forums, which will enable you gain some post for every new post or reply. It will also enable you to donate some points to the helpful posts (and thus to helpful member).
We will decide the winner on the basis of debtcc points every week. More details will be posted here within next week. This coming week we want to try the points system for bugs and other problems.
We expect your feedback in improving the systems. Please feel to ask more queries about the system.

Re: For this week (24 apr - 30 apr) updated
I like the rules and I think that they are very comprehensive. If it is possible, i think there needs to be a assurance that each post/reply is actually relevant to assisting a debt burdened person. I don't think people should be rewarded for cheap posts that have no relevancy to assisting people. Because I could make 15 posts on the same thread and have a conversation with myself. The most weight should be given for responding to the questions of a debt burdened question.
If the rules are too objective, then these kinds of tactics would be rewarded. Maybe you should use the points to ID the top 2 posters. Then review each poster's log for dummy posts. I don't know if you would have time for this sort of thing but it is just a suggestion.
Maybe you can also include a rate this post/reply under each post/reply. This will allow guest and registered users rate the effectiveness of each reply based on a scale of 1-5 or 1-10. Each number on the scale could correspond to a certain number of points that a person is rewarded. This would allow the most relevant posts to be rewarded more than the dummy posts.
But overall, I think the rules are fair if you are looking for the best objective measure.

Thanks Benjamin, we have already started the work on this issue and soon we will have featured posts and rated posts. I am happy that point system is going good; we will be trying the whole next month to improve the systems. We will try to extend the point systems to give us weekly winners.

Hi Vikas
Also, I have mentioned in the Pub one suggestion if it can be done. I was just wishing if the names of all the members can be viewed in the index page after each log in. Presently we see the name of only one member and the names of the other members whosoever have posted previously don't get displayed. So I just felt to see the names of all the posters after each log-in in the index page.

also when they are asking a question they expect a reply and you should send them a email with the replies and in the email also tell them how much money they have already earned. This way they can keep track of the money that they have already earned and this will give them an incentive to keep coming back

I think this is awesome, as the posters have pointed out about guest, maybe just a skeleton registration would work, that is what we do at work for individuals that don't want our full blown service, but we have enough information to ensure that they are truly who they say they are and it stops duplication. It also enables us to track our numbers for our reports. Just a thought.

I was thinking the same thing Fed...but I never read this before & it was pretty good. Maybe Vikas or Mike bumped it up internally to remind people of the points & stuff?
