Fight with Check n Go Over!


Hey everyone, I did not know where else to post this. I have great news,I am typing this and doing the happy dance (kinda hard with a lightsaber). I got home today and checked the mail and I got a letter from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulations. I wrote to these guys a few days ago and today they answered. It seems that check n go back in July of this year forgot to tell me that they wrote off my entire loan. I almost hit the floor. The IDFPR said they where supposed to tell me in July. All this time I was worried about how I was going to come up with the money. Now is is finaly over. I have no more payday loans, they are "ALL GONE FOR EVER" There is no way in Gods earth that I could have done this alone, I would not have a clue. I thank each and everyone of you who showed me what to do and was there for me. I love you all very much. I am going to go jump around outside now.

luke, it couldn't have happened to a better person. Thank God you are done with them. That's been "the question" on here for such a long time. I'm thanking God on your behalf for getting this resolved with a wonderful ending. And, you're pdl free? Another reason to thank God. I bet you feel so good right now. Free. I'm so happy for you. I have a large storefront pdl with ck n go and
the checks have bounced and i have not heard from
them.

Was yours a storefront and how on earth did this
happen, for them to drop it?

they are relentless when it comes to calling and
just reminding to come in when I'm on time. I'm
waking up at night, just thinking about when they
start on me about the bounced checks.

kelly, luke's was a storefront. Have you tried seeing if your storefront still holds a license? You might get lucky! :wink:

luke, the account is closed, correct? They can't do anything with the checks. They are useless, like you said. They have your old account number (closed account), they have your address (so they had that the entire time), they can not try to "cash" them, as they will not be honored. I, personally, (and this is just ME) wouldn't even worry about it. I can't see them trying to press charges against you, as the they are out of business. Am I correct? Even so, who in the world would you ask for your checks back from? They're gone, aren't they? Who would even have them?
