Trina, your approach should be the same for all the companies who just don't work within the fair legal lines of fdcpa. The number that you have listed in your post belongs to Ellis Crosby. I assume they are trying to use a different name to run their business.
You can lodge your complaints at the FTC at the following address:
https://rn.ftc.gov/pls/dod/wsolcq$.startup?Z_ORG_CODE=PU01
Also, you can file your complaint at the state attorney general office and also at the BBB at the following address:

thank you Ben. I contacted the BBB (had previous complain on Ellis Crosby) and gave them the info. they created a new complaint and told me the Compnay was probably posing under a new name/number since they're being investigated by the attorney general. They recommend anyone else doing the same. They are probably posing under several names. Thanks for the tip.

Hi Bluedog
Welcome to the forums.
No, you can't be sent to a jail for not paying back the loan to the credit card company. In such circumstances, you should close your bank account so that they don't automatically deduct payments from your account.
Your account will be then sold to a collection agency who will try to collect payments from you. They will hit your credit report and tarnish your credit file.

Bluedog, closing the account will be a good move for the time being but it will keep hurting your credit file also. At a later stage, if you want to pay it back, you will get involved in serious troubles with all sorts of fines and writing checks on a closed account. Or you closed the account after the 'payment' was presented to you.
Thinking of all the consequences, I will suggest you to use the consolidation program and make easier repayments instead of damaging your credit file.
