need help with sending a letter to Eastside Lenders

I am in the process of blocking the debit for Eastside Lenders that is due to come out of my account on Friday but I'm unsure what to do in regards to revoking the authorization. Can I send an email to them and then also send a certified letter or is it best to simply send a certified letter? Help please.

Send both. Cover your bases. The email gets there quicker and the certified letter backs it up. However keep in mind that revokation letters are usually ignored, they will continue to keep trying to take money out, and will become creative in trying to get around the block, including submitting a 'paper check' or using a different name.

They can claim they never got any correspondence from you..I also have a loan with them (along with others)

I closed my account as well as sending the letters and if you can close yours, you should.. Read this post first about closing your account.
