I need to get out of my payday loans. I

I live in Wi and I have bout 10 payday loans. 6 of them are online and 4 of them are store pdl. I am broke about to get evicted and have my car repossessed. If I dont pay the pdl online, would it all go to collections? I dont want to file bankruptcy just because of my payday loans but if thats the only option I guess I will take it since I did this to begin with. But any help would be appreciated.

Also, could you post a bit more information?

What companies did you borrow from? Are they internet or storefront? How much did you borrow for each loan? And how much have you paid back so far in fees and such for each loan?

Once you post that information we can better advise you on how to handle the situation.

There is hope!!! Honestly!!! We've all been where you are now..........trust me, you've come to the right place. When you post who you owe money to, discover you've already paid more than you should, and see that most (if not all) of your pdls are probably illegal.......you'll see the light at the end of the tunnel. Because there's something you can DO about it!!!

nad, I'm posting your WI state pdl law. Please remember that your store front pdl's are licensed/legal. You would need to work out something with them. If you wish, please list your internet pdl's and we can probably help you here! :D

You will find the Payday loan laws for Wisconsin here (just select your state),

You are right Bankruptcy is not a good idea, especially for PDLs. And once you give us the information requested we'll be able to let you know which ones are even legal. Keep in mind we do recommend you pay everything back as determined by the law (or in the case of the illegal ones, at least paying back what you borrowed) but to do that only when you are back on your feet and have the money to do so. Never neglect important things like food and shelter.

Most likely you'll have to close your bank account but that is trickier when you have storefronts to deal with. So we'll get to that too when you respond. But take a deep breath, keep logging on and everything will be okay. Glad you made it here....
