How to pay them?

okay so here is my dilema. I have several loans I have way overpaid principal and interest adn have no intention of paying any more. But a couple of otheres that I have yeat to pay the full principle and some are legal. (Cashnetusa) So I am going to close my account after talking with the bank and opening a new account. Now there is no way in hell any PDL is getting my new acct. # so my question is how can I pay the legit companies. I don't want to give out any debit card number or anything. Strictly money orders or what? Thanks you all are most helpful!!!

Read that thread, put your state in and it will tell you the pdl laws for your state. Take everyone's advice as we have all been there.

Please list what state you are from, who your pdl's are with are they internet's or storefronts. If storefronts you need to contact them ASAP to set up payment arrangements. The storefront are most likely doing business legally and will and can sue if you default with them.

Make sure that when you open your new account it's at a different bank. You don't want to stay at the same bank and have a clerical error made so that they accidently start taking money out of that account.

List the companies that you are dealing with and how much you have paid in just principal and your state's legal charges.

eddie, after agreeing upon a "settlement", I paid with money orders only. If they want their money, they will give you a physical address to send the money order to. I refuse to give out any other information and I refuse to use money gram/western union as many of them insist on. Once they figure that out, they'll give you an address to mail a money order. Copy that money order, send it certified return receipt and you will know they received your payment. You can track it yourself and know exactly when they got it. Then email them and inform them you are aware they received your payment. I personally will only use money orders.

Cashnet Usa will take moneygrams/western union. They will try to tell you at first that they can only debit your account but if you are persistant with them they will cave about how you pay. Basically tell them your account is closed and you do not have another one. Do not tell them that you have another account.
