More faxes/emails/letters

Well, just emailed and faxed GFS/GFSIL, AIP, and World Wide Cash again. I'm going to send out the hard copies tomorrow via cert. mail. I filled out complaints with the BBB, any idea how long till I may get a response from them?? All three have stopped debiting my account, but, I'm not stopping until I get a refund!! Should I file with the BBB again?? How about the FTC? Thanks everyone!!

grd, good job! :D The BBB will be the first to respond. Give them a little time because they contact the companies and then the companies have a certain amount of time to respond to them. Once they respond to the BBB, the BBB will contact you via email. If they don't respond to the BBB, the BBB will contact you via email telling you they received no response. The FTC will acknowledge your complaint. However, you may not hear from them again unless they need additional information. However, do not think they are not paying attention to your complaints. They are. The AG will take awhile to respond. You won't hear anything & you'll start getting discouraged. But then you'll receive letters from them in regards to your complaints. They review EVERY complaint that comes in, so it takes them some time. But, I promise, you'll get something from them. They usually send you a letter telling you that they've contacted the company and the company has 30 days to respond to them. It's quite a "waiting game", but you will get responses.

grd, I just re-read your post. Have you not filed with the FTC yet? If not, PLEASE DO! File with them. Do not leave them out. And, of course, file with your state AG.

Thanks, grd! :D Just keep us posted on what's going on. These agencies give the companies a certain amount of time to respond, so don't get discouraged! Hopefully, you can get some resolved just through the BBB. But the other agencies will also respond. Hang in there! And make sure you let me know what's going on!

LOL, kash! It's actually ugly! I have stuff clipped together, stapled together, rubber banded together, some in one corner, some in a wicker "basket", depending on the status of them, etc. LOL! Lord.... I want to get a big box and just throw it all in there and bury the box!

goudah, I believe that grd has filed all complaints with the BBB. It's just a matter of them responding as of right now. And AIP is known for giving PIF's and/or refunds through the BBB. One of them was me! :D

Just be patient with these places. I know the waiting is hard because we all want action like yesterday, but do have to give these places time to do what they need to do. They will contact you when they have responses or information for you. Glad to hear that your account isn't being debited any more. That has got to be a relief, but just keep an eye on it. Never know when they might try to be sneaky and try to slip a paper check through. That is what happened to us. We had not heard from UCL's for a while and then all of the sudden they put a paper check through on us. Just keep an eye out for safe measure.

Good job though!!!

I'm new to all this, but I want to say y'all are the best people in the world! Anyway, what I am wondering is who is AIP? Would like to know in case I have a loan with them and want to request a PIF! (Since I have 15 loans). BTW, update now is: Two PIFs (paydayok and payday select), running disputes with US Fast Cash and Paycheck Today, Payday Cashlink, Platinum Cash Now. Haven't heard from Cash adv.net, Loan Point (Geneva Roth) but I am sure I will hear from them soon. Have made fair payment arrangements with USA Payday (well, still dispute over balance, but am making payments), Tremont Financial, Cashnet USA and Impact Cash made the best, best payment arrangement of all! Purpose Loans, have not heard from. Think Cash I got paid off last month. 500 Fast Cash have had one e-mail from 10 days ago and that is all. BTW, I have done the ACH revocation letters, filing with State Consumer Credit and BBB offices, not to mention e-mailing them my state's laws.

I was going to go with T and C to consolidate, but I really think I can handle it on my own, now. They don't scare me anymore, thanks to all you guys! I really can't tell you what this means to me!
