Hi Eddie - welcome!

I'm also in Michigan, and have dealt with PDL's. I can tell you that pretty much any online PDL is illegal in Michigan, because Michigan state law requires a PDL to be licensed in Michigan - and unless they have a storefront location in Michigan as well as a website, about 90% of the online ones won't be legal here.

I will check on the list you've given to see if any are licensed and come back and let you know. While I'm doing that, please post how much your original loan was with each lender (no fees included), and how much you have paid back so far (anything you have paid them, regardless of whether it was fees or principal or both).

I'll be back with your info shortly on licensure.

Eddie - here is the state law for Michigan regarding payday loans (just select your state),

http://www.debtconsolidationcare.com/paydayloan/explain-pdls-laws.html

I attempted to access the licensee database for Michigan to see which of these lenders (if any) are licensed in Michigan, but the database is down right now (all the licensee databases for Michigan were down - I tried the others as well, must be site problem on the .gov site). I will check again tomorrow morning to see if the site is back up.

In the meantime, I'll try a few other resources to see if I can find out if they're licensed, but I prefer to get the info right from the horse's mouth, so to speak.

Anyway, post the info on how much you've paid each one, and how much you borrowed, and we can help you figure out how much you owe each one, and whether you've already overpaid them.

Well, United Cash Loans and ameriloan won't be. So you don't have to check on those, suebee! :D
