you all have nerve taking out a loan, then not paying it back. all of you taking loans out over the internet need to realize that the laws that are followed are the laws of the state that the company is located in, not your laws. just stop crying about it all and JUST PAY YOUR BILLS.

Excuse me....who here said anything about not paying our bills?? We have more than paid them...that's the whole point...we never tell people not to pay their loans off...but rather to check the laws and pay accordingly...maybe you should check your info before coming on here and pointing your finger at us...we also check our status and laws with the Attorney Generals, the BBB and the FTC...would you like to complain about them also??

Our friend, mill, has another post going too. I had to respond to that one. God love mill! Hope he/she has a good day at work tomorrow calling people at their places of employment and harrassing them for money.

Hey mill I am just curious. If I take out a loan for $300 in Kentucky and do not pay it back and you are based in Nevada, New York, the United Kingdom, China or wherever since it really doesnt matter and you sue me which state or country would I be sued in? In case you do not know the answer is Kentucky. Now if you sue me in Kentucky how are you going to negate all Kentucky state law and impose the law of your state or country? Also, just because you loan me $300 and then next week say I owe you $600 does not make it true or legal which is the entire point of falling the law of the state that you reside in.

Mil, Please find something constructive to do with your obvious spare time. You dont know anything about us, or our situations. We all want to pay back what we have borrowed. No one said we did't.
We are working hard towards that goal. What we dont want to do, is become victims of scams, and very illegal intrest rates. We pay what is legally owed.
BTW,which PDL do you work for???????????

ok, as far as me working for a "pdl" i dont think so, wouldnt be caught dead working in an office. I have a real job, i make good money, so i dont need a payday cash advance, however i do understand the basic principles of the industry. now, if i borrow say $500, and sign the contract saying that i will re-pay the $500, plus the interest that has built up over the length of my loan, but when it comes time topay it, all of the sudden its unfair that i'm being charged so much interest, so i dont pay it back. and you all want some kind of sympathy or something? get a real job and you wont have to borrow money. but nothings going to change, because its easier to whine and complain, then to step up and take responsibility for your actions and just pay the money back as you agreed. but, since we know that wont happen, lets break out the bus pass and take a ride to the nearest goodwill (im sure you cant afford any better) and then go beg for some change like the bums you all are. im looking forward to the dumb replies i will be recieving so please, make them good.

as far as your question, are we talking a store front or an internet based loan? because if it was an internet based loan, your following the laws of whatever state said company is lisenced in, regardless of the state you are in. But like i said, i dont do this for a living, so if that didnt answer your question, ill try harder for ya next time. Just one more thing, when you get a credit card, do you question what state you obtained it in, and quote state laws for that as well, or only whem it suits you? have a good one!!!!

BTW, I have a terrific job, and so does my husband. I just made some serious debt mistakes a few years ago, but was honest enough with myself to get back on track. I'm proud of that, and I'm not ashamed to talk about what I went through.

And...I love goodwill. I'm petite, and love expensive jeans...Like Lucky. At Goodwill I can find them small enough and get brand new Lucky's for $4.99!! Life is good! Once I bought a pair of capris at Salvation Army and there was $20 in the pocket! Would you've kept it?

Let's see........ regarding the credit card question, mill........ Ummmmmmm.... is the credit card company licensed to do business legally? Huh? You think that might play into this somehow?
Oh, and I too love Goodwill. I can afford the mall, but Goodwill is great.
Think I might use my credit card there...........

cannr...wasnt really talking to you, but i welcome the response. i think you are completely missing the point i am making. i dont think any of you can understand that INTERNET BASED COMPANIES HAVE NO STATE LAWS TO FOLLOW BUT THE STATE LAWS OF THE STATE THEY ARE BASED IN. anyway, off to bed for me, some of us have to get up and work tomorrow, not scam our money out of PDL companies. sweet dreams.

P.S. your little sayings at the bottom of the letters...yea try a little harder next time.

Oh my gosh! I'm laughing my butt off reading mill's asinine comments! For someone who claims to NOT work for a pdl and NOT have any financial issues, they sure are taking a vested interest in the topic and "seem" to know a lot about it! I think someone has some anger issues. I think maybe mill needs a hug....

By the way mill, I have a job too, an office job, a good job - I work in the attorney general's office and I also deal with registration issues for out-of-state companies that conduct business on the internet and according to the statute, these businesses must register in Ohio if they wish to conduct business with Ohio citizens via the internet. What makes you think that internet pdls are exempt from these practices?

GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT before you go spouting off about something you clearly know nothing about. Please, please continue your rabid, non-sensical rants because they are giving us all quite a chuckle and quite frankly, they are just the inspiration I need to keep fighting idiots like you. Have a great day and God bless you.

i finally realized that you broke people get paid to post on here...whats it a penny a point? its all starting to become clear. and as far as why i know "so much about pdls" which, really i dont, is because i like to come on here and read all your little crybaby topics, makes me feel good about myself that i dont have to go to a PDL to make sure i can pay my car note this month. just admit it, YOU ALL SUCK AT LIFE!!!!! guadha...u pug lady thing i think you are the worst...tie the rope and jump, its not worth going on

Blah Blah Blah.Instead of posting something useful or answering a question you attack the board.Very typical of someone in the collections industry. You just hate when people know laws.Yes we get paid to post and I have earned maybe $400 since I joined. That is not even enough to pay one of my normal monthly bills.

Mill, thank you. It is people like you that give me job security. BTW, I work in an office as well and my PhD's both of them, look really nice on the walls. You really should not make assumptions and really should research what you are talking about before you spew inaccurate information.

PS. You also need to read up on your fashion, vintage cloting is in...

Based on your last post, I agree with the others that have posted before me, you obviously have issues, anger and otherwise. I would be more than happy to provide you with a phone number for people who can help you work out these issues in a more constructive manner. The only one crying is you..you are sending out a very loud cry for help. I understand, even negative attention is better than no attention. I suggest you bring that up as one of your issues when you finally get the courage to seek help. If you can not bring yourself to get the help you need, I suggest you take the advice you gave the "pug lady." your world would obviously be happier.

OK I got it, I figured it out !!!! MIl does not work
directly for a PDL. He is the clown a** who wrote the manual.Thats his/her job, making money from crooks who want to get into the business.
Mil , just vanish. Go about the wonderful life you profess to have and leave us alone.

OMG!! I miss all the fun, I have to get on here more!!! The office job comment really toots my horn, I work in an HR office and work my A** off every darned day, it is sooooo busy!! A real job??? What exactly is a REAL JOB? I get paid well to do what I do and my husband does too (OMG, in an office job as well)!!, we just made some foolish mistakes and are trying to fix it now! That does not make ANYONE ON HERE SCUM!!! Maybe you really need to see a shrink, mill, maybe mill is just trying to direct his feelings of himself/herself towards others to make himself/herself feel better about just how crappy he/she is at this LIFE THING!!!
As for you Mill, obviously you must have debt if you knows so much about it OR YOU DO WORK FOR A PDL, MAYBE YOU ARE JUST IN DENIAL!!!!

I personally would like to see no more responses to mill. He/she/it is just trying to get a reaction out of us. Let's not give him/her/it the satisfaction. Here is someone who clearly is struggling with some anger issues and they feel they need to direct it at someone so they chose us mistakenly assuming we were weak targets who would crumble at their insipid, mis-informed ramblings.

Do we really want to lower ourselves to respond to someone who attempts to taunt us by using terms that we used to use in the 4th or 5th grade? I mean come on, what mature, intelligent adult do you know who still uses the term "crybaby?" Please, we're better than this fool. Let's prove it. Please no more replies to this imbecile.

Oh, the trolls are coming out to play again!!!!! And hmmmm, define "real job" for me? Is that the job I work at from 8-5 M-F? Or is that the job I have at the concert venue? Or my new job after work??????? Let's see, I've got three of them, so I hope that one of them is real!!!!!!!
See, noone on this board is a crybaby or scum, but what we all did at one time is make stupid financial mistakes. And I probably made more than anyone here. The purpose of our community is to help each other and educate ourselves so we don't do it again.

I looked at your points you have 453 to date. If you don't want to cash in,donate them to me. :P  Now, let me tell you something. I am a single parent with 3 children, proud black 34 yr old woman. I made some debt mistakes and got hung up in these IPDLS. As for as a good job, I have a damn good job and I am sure I make more than you. Like I said made some mistakes, that's neither here nor there. On the hand let me run you down real quick. I have 3 degrees just finished my M.Ed. YEAH!!! Getting ready to make some real good money. You apparently have nothing to do and apparently you have a boring life. You remind me of one of those men/women that sit at the computer, search the internet for their mate,(and lie about how you look) or you could even search the porno sites. Anyway seems to me you do a lot of searching for anything you can find. Do you need a friend, someone to talk too? Listen, we will be your friend if that's how you want it. If not, crawl back to www.myspace.com and find your mate there. GOOD DAY MATE!!

ok let me start by commenting on the guy who works 91 hour weeks on a rig. BULLLSHYT. if you worked 91 hours a week, A.)you wouldnt have any money problems that would lead you down the PDL road, and B.) NO TIME TO GET ON HERE AND TRY TO PROVE YOURSELF. so, once again, BULLSHYT. and the same goes for that cool guy cornell, if you have 3 jobs, and still have time to play on here, woooooow, hard work your puttin in let me tell ya. ok, now for the 34 year old black women...like i really care your black, there you go pulling the race card, maybe al sharpton cares your black, i dont. its all so comical to me that all of you say you have these great jobs and make soooo much money, more then me, i think not, but yet you have to borrow money from PDLs, classic lmfao material. well im off to play with my kids, you have a good time gettin mad over my comments, when all i speak is the truth.

Wow, I don't know what to say! I have a 'real job' that not only do I love, but I also make more money and have better benefits there than my mom does working for the state. As for the Goodwill thing, why waste $150 on one pair of jeans when you can get at least 3 outfits? There's nothing wrong with shopping there and most stores have really nice clothes for just a few bucks. As for the pdl thing, emergencies DO come up and I know I took out the payday loans to stifle the blow of some hard times. Anyways, perhaps you should start minding your own business. That's my two cents on this.

I consider Mill's post regarding our member Goudah to be highly offensive and downright threatening - "tie the rope and jump"? Sounds like a suggestion to commit suicide to me.

Your posts are worth nothing here - you are posting inaccurate information regarding payday loans - you are helping no one, and obviously have way too much time on your hands.
