I would suggest doing all communications via email or USPS. That way you have a record of everything that has transpired between the you and UCLs. Email them and tell them that you sent them several VOD to them and they did not respond. Do you still owe them anything (not the overpayments, but what you should pay them). Just curious because you could tell them that if they want the rest of their money the need to send the VOD and give you a mailing address. Hang ups like that tick me off. I especially like the calls that come in and say please hold, all reps are busy now someone will be with you shortly and within a few minutes you get hung up on! We have been getting some calls like that at my office, but have no idea who they are and who they are calling for. I have just started hanging up as soon as the recording comes on because I don't have time to mess with it.

The orginial amount of loan was $300.00 taken out in 2005. I went a few rounds with Pinion Management and in 2006 sent VOD letters and they left me alone until recently when UCL started to call telling me I owe $600. There were some $90.00 payments made in 2005.
I have copies of the letters they send and what I sent them. The letters were sent several time from Jan to April 2006. No reply from them. I know they have moved around several times and have changed there mailing address. Now the phone calls show up on caller ID as 000-000-0000 can't block or track call but I do have a record of when and time they have called.

Like I said, I would just correspond with them via email. I know it may not be something you want to do, but you can change your phone number to an unlisted/unpublished number. That would help with the phone calls. These people are crooks! When I was dealing with them, they never called me when i did all my stuff, they just snuck a paper check through on our account, which we were trying to get to a positive so we could close it out! Just keep an eye on them.
