Tremont is notorious for doing wage assignments. That is what they sent to your boss.

Is your employer going to honor it? What state are you in?

Actually My boss is going to honor it, but he is giving me time to talk to them before he puts the paperwork through. Im in the state of NJ. Are they aloud to do this without a court order?

Why is your boss going to honor it?? PDLs are illegal in NJ. Is Tremont financial even licensed (I sincerely doubt it). Please don't let this happen!

I also do not understand why your boss is going to honor it. I also believe that the most that can be garnished is 25%. I may be wrong Gemimi, but I think some one posted that on your other thread

In most states voluntary wage assignments are legal. It can be revoked, but once the assignment is sent out, it can be very hard to stop. It really needs to be revoked before it's sent. They don't need a court order, because you already agreed to let them do this in the contract you signed.

Oh that really stinks...

That's why we all always say to revoke it right away. It makes things a ton easier . . . .
