Payday lender operating manual

OMG! :shock: I read that like 3 times. I'm in total shock here. There is a "manual". I swear, I always thought there was. Now here's proof. And they flat out say this illegal way of doing business. OMG. I wish to God we could print this crap out and mail it in with our complaints regarding pdl's. I'm still amazed. I'll be in shock the rest of the day.

$220 for the manual, and they also offer seminars for $2200.

Why don't they just go to prison and get all of the criminal teachings for free, which may also have a bonus class involving KY jelly and a plunger.

I hope EVERYONE is reading this thread. EVERYONE. So that we are all aware of this crap. "Intimidation sheet". They teach people how to scare the hell out of innocent people. They teach people how to harrass innocent people. Something has got to be done. How can this company be doing this legally? How can this be legal, period? This is beyond words. Thank God it's at least posted on this site. Knowledge to help at least SOME people, if not the world. Unbelievable.

An illegal business teaching other people to open illegal bussinesses. Will it never end? I am having a hard time digesting this one. Actually, as soon as one of these places closes, another one opens in its place. It is teaching them to have a "Speedy exit"

Technically, they are a legal business showing others how to start up an illegal business. It's not illegal to write a manual.

I really want the manual, but am not going to spend the money on it.

But I did find another site that gives a 5 day free course in starting up a payday loan business. I'm going to take it!

And they actually do recommend that you do get licensed.

I wonder if they take payment by ach and if you dont pay in full if they take huge late fees. I wouldn't put it past them

I cannot believe this, it's just unbelievable and so, so sad. I especially like the part where they tell you that an "offshore" operation might be what you need...Just SO wrong on so many levels.

This is sickening. If the wording is as sly as that web site is ,I am almost tempted to buy it and ask the Ftc to reimburse me when they get it overnight express. :evil:

You are no different from me. We are all sick of these crooks taking our hard earned money and utilizing threats that most don't know are illegal. There are quite a few Attorney Generals who have taken this issue of payday loans to Capital Hill, and it is being mulled over right now.

I just got home from work...and on the drive home I was already upset because right accross the street from where I work they are building a new strip mall...and put up the sign today for a new pdl storefront...just knowing what I know I was distraught over what will happen to the people that walk in that door!! Then I sit down here and read how we can go on line and learn to be a ipdl..!!!! I hope your right Anthony....someone, something, somewhere has to stop this nonsence!!!!!!

This is absurd. Glad you brough it to our attention. If only we could get our hands on that manual. Now are they not only making money off of desperate people with a loan, they are tricking them into buying information to start an illegal business!

We need to start up the cause. Bring out the picket signs to stand in front of storefronts, handing out flyers about why people shouldn't get involved with those loan sharks. And if someone were to say 'break the rules' like they do, get a hacker to 'redo' their websites, just like I saw a few years ago that someone did to the triple-K website, imposing pictures of their hoods onto photos of people doing wrong things to a chicken.

Or we can enroll them all in the plunger class like Anthony suggested...
