Do I keep on for a refund of accept the PIF?

Ok I got an email from Paydayselect saying they are sorry and that my account is PIF. Well in my letter I sent them I asked for a refund. Here's the letter I sent and what I got back.
What I got back:

Quote:
PayDay Select is sorry you are unsatisfied with its service. We will consider your loan paid in full.

Thank You,

Subject: RE: Account Details

To whom it may concern,

I reside in Arkansas and have the entire course of the loan I received from you. According to Arkansas code for payday loan (Title 23, Subtitle 2, Chapter 52) No person shall engage in the check-cashing business without first obtaining a permit from the State Board of collection agencies in accordance with this chapter. So a license is a must for the companies offering check-cashing business or payday lending. There are NO rollovers/renewals/extensions allowed at all. I have checked with the Arkansas Secretary of State's for your registration and I found nothing. In the case of this payday loan you are required to be registered in my state of Arkansas and follow all laws that govern it. By you giving me a loan without following my state laws then the terms of that contract become illegal and cannot be enforced.

As of today I have paid Paydayselect a total of 2058.57 in fees and principal since the date of my original loan on 3/30/2006. I believe that since I have borrowed a total of $770.00 thru my original loan and principal increases and have paid a total of $2058.57 I am entitled to a refund, I have been overcharged. I am demanding a refund of $1000.00 of which I paid in fees for this loan, and my account marked Paid In Full. I will expect a cashier's check wrote out to Edited for your safety - Goudah,to arrive at Edited for your safety - Goudah, within 30 calendar days from today's date August 16th 2007. Once I have received my refund I will consider this matter closed.

Furthermore I revoke any and all wage assignments I may have signed in you contract. I also revoke any authorization I gave for you to debit , or submit a paper check at any bank account I have in my name. I respectfully ask that all contact be either via USPS or by email at Edited for your safety - Goudah. Pleas do not attempt to call my employer, friends, or relatives that I listed in your contract. Please acknowledge receipt if their letter and your acceptance of what I have asked for above. Thank you for your time.

Would you still proceed with a refund or just be happy they marked my account PIF?

No. Keep pushing for the refund. You may not get it, but bug the crap out of them. Maybe they'll give it to you to shut you up! Did you get something IN WRITING stating it's PIF? That's your main concern. But, I say, push for the refund. Hell, they got WAY too much of your money!
