AG Response Continues

Okay. If you remember, I received responses from my state AG on every pdl complaint I filed. They gave the pdl's 30 days to respond. Gee, today I got a fat envelope from the AG's office. Copies of 7 pdl's that never responded to the AG's letter. Hmmm... and MTE Financial was one of them? Hmmmm......am I surprised? So the AG sent a second letter to the pdl's. This one is a bit more stern, stating consumer protection, they will step in, etc. I still have others that I'm waiting to see if they respond to the AG. I'm sure they won't. They're all illegal! But, just to let you know - they have sent out 2nd letters to the pdl's who did not respond yet. I have no clue what happens if they don't respond to the 2nd letter. However, at least the AG is still on it and hopefully this is grab their attention regarding these stupid illegal pdl's. There is hope with the AG offices. Just be patient.

Well, thank you for letting me know. Not that is was encouraging. LOL! But at least I know nothing is going to happen. What the hell am I doing all this work for then?

Did you turn them into the Department of Finance and the BBB can't remember of you did or not (I am pretty sure that you did). Cannr what state are you in, I know that I should now this but stupid me can't remember. Don't give up on your AG's office, at least they sent them a 2nd threatening letter. Who are all of them you are dealing with?

Oh, ladybug. I've filed with so many agencies, it's not even funny! I've filed with everyone on every pdl I had. I'm in Kentucky where internet pdl's are illegal. So, they're illegal. They can bite my ass. However, they're still trying to attack me. And now they're popped up and attacked my bank again. I've file, re-filed, and plan on re-filing again. Why? I don't have a clue.

cannr...

Did not mean to discourage you. The AG in my state sent out 70 C&Ds to these clowns. Only Two PDLs replied.

A majority of the time the address a PDL supplies is bogus. If you look up some of these places on google earth you will find just a bunch of trees and vegitation at the address they gave you. Most likely thats the reason they are not responding to the AGs office.

roadwarrier, you are NOT making me feel any better! LOL! I have to laugh! At least you're honest! If I google search and find trees and empty land, I'd probably just turn into a vegtable and they'd have to cart me away! Lord. This is insane. I feel like I've done a full circle in over two months. And, jen, read my post regarding CAUTION USFASTCASH AND BANK. It's a gem of a deal. Wonderful. The nightmare is starting up again. I don't think this will ever go away. Honestly. Now that roadwarrier has informed me that basically nothing is going to happen, I'm beginning to wonder why in the world I've invested so much time into this. Letters, copies, complaints, emails, phone calls. Only to end up right where I was anyway! Okay, can you tell I'm getting a little discouraged? That's okay. More experience to help others!!!!!

MTE Financial is the Mothership to a collection of ipdls all under different names...as a whole they are very difficult to work with.

When the AG office sends letters out to the ipdls to try to mediate a resolution for you...if they company does not answer the AG's letter than there isn't anything more the AG can do.

van, I replied on another thread you asked that question on. Check your "threads" and you'll see it. I actually stated that MTE Financial is Satan  . But I did go into more detail! LOL! And, morningstarr, thank you. I'm getting a little frustrated today. Can you tell? I know I've gotten a lot done, but you know that MTE is my nightmare. And they are still sticking it to me. I'll keep fighting. I won't give up. You know me. I get a thrill off this crap. But, man, the last two days haven't been too good! I'm just saying I feel like I haven't moved a step in these last few months just because I'm going around with the bank again and dealing with the same pdl's again. And now have to refile again. And roadwarrier telling me most pdl's will never respond to the AG and I guess that ends it. What? How terribly discouraging. But, I'll get over it! My nightmare will help others. So something good will come out of it.

Cannr

Boy a lot happens when you go away for a little bit. This really stinks but you have accomplished alot...for you and the rest of us. I have to believe that sooner or later (later for sure) there will be sanctions and penalties and laws to stop these ipdl's. We can not get that accomplished without people like you. Keep Fighiting..

Thank you, suzi! If nothing else, at least I'm gaining more knowledge (LOL!) and experience (LOL again!) that might be able to help others! What happens "bad" to me, I might be able to give advice on to others! I guess some things happen for a reason. And if it's so that I can find out things the "hard way" and pass along the knowledge, then that's okay with me. As long as SOMEONE gets help from it!

It's 5/3 Bank. Thanks for your kind words! I just want a warning out for 5/3 customers that this was done! Amazing, isn't it?

Maybe it's me, but I find it hard to believe that the AG office would just give up even if they received no response. I thought I remembered reading that they make an effort to locate the company, etc. Maybe it depends on the state?

Either way, this is very discouraging news! :(

Cann, I just googled 5/3 bank and tons of complaint info came up, but then again, the same stuff comes up when I google my bank! LOL They all STINK! I think if you were just able to close the account (without having debits go through AFTER it is closed-wtf!) then you would be fine, but it seems that most of your PDL problems that are still occuring has to do with your darn bank screwing up!

Well, I checked my bank on line again and I'll be damned if it still isn't showing open/active! Can you believe it? It's supposed to be closed (again). Of course, it's Sunday. I'll check it Monday morning. If it doesn't say closed, I'll call customer service and see what they show. If they show it still open/active. Then I'll call the branch manager (again) and ask her what the hell is going on. In the meantime, USFastCash is going to catch wind that they're $560 was returned and try to hit it again. I swear to God. I'm going to have to drive to the bank (again) and beat the crap out of that woman! Why is it still open? Lord have mercy.

morningstarr, 60 days??? Hell, it was over 60 days!! The idiots took off the block and MTE was waiting to pounce! LOL! If I have to wait 60 days, MTE is going to have a friggin field day with that bank account! USFastCash thinks it's open again (gee, it is.) So now my other MTE pdl's are going to say "OH BOY! OH BOY!" And start throwing electronic checks through! LOL! I have to laugh or I'd still be fuming! I can only imagine the field day they will have knowing it's open again. Lordy, Lordy! I hope my branch manager has a chair ready with my name on it in her office because I'll be in there every day!
