Sorry to say, but you must change banks. Unless your current bank can stop any and all withdraws, because some companies use diffrent names to get past a block. Most consumers end up having to take their money out and changing banks.

Thank you for the list. I will definetly gat that letter sent today thank you. I have another question since these companies are illegal I assume they don't follow fdcpa is that correct? I will also call around to those banks as well.

oh no I'm back to square one I called my bank and Goudah was right the loss prevention dept took the block off and they noted my account not to close due to reoccurring ipdl. I tried to tell them they are illegal but they said there was nothing they can do. What should I do just go in and withdrawl all my money and let the account get hit with a bunch of nsf's?

amd, this sucks! Take anthony's advice. Suck every friggin dime you have out of that account! Get your money! Go to a new bank, open a new account. You'll have control over your money. Your bank sucks! I'm getting ticked off now. Get every dollar out. It's going to rack up NSF fees and daily fees, but I'd fight the hell out of that big time! In the meantime, your money will be safe in a new account. Hell, I'd be running to the ATM machine right now taking out everything I could!

I would get your money out and let the account go negative. They will close it out after 30 days. Then you can fight with them to remove all the fees. That's real fun. But at least you will have your money! And don't open an account at another bank that uses chexsystems. WF will report you, and if your new bank uses chex, sometimes they will do sweeps of new accounts for the first 3 to 6 months, and if they find your chex report they will freeze and close your new bank account.

Since they noted my account in that manner will they give me a hard time about geting all my money? I finally got all the letters sent I found most of them through this site using the search and made a copy for me. Thanks cannr for getting me the adrs and fax#. How long do you think it will be before I get the calls. I read in another thread sometimes you take 2 steps forward and get thrown 5 steps back, ugh!! How long do these places make collection calls for? I thought it was going to be smooth--so much for that, lol! Do they draft your account everyday once it returns nsf or does it take a couple days. Maybe on my follwing check I can work something out and then I should get my bail check I will be free of this crap. :D :D

Everyone's situation is different. I think the 2 steps forward, 5 back comment was more about financial life in general. Everytime you think you are ahead something happens and puts you behind again.
Anyways, I would get the money out asap. I would not take anymore chances with WF. You shouldn't have a problem, but it's better to get it all out now.
The collection calls will start anywhere from the first day you defualt, up to maybe a couple weeks after. There really isn't any logic to it. Some people are contacted right away, others not at all, from the same company.
It depends on the pdl how much they will try to get their money. Some will try 3+ times a day. Others will break up the payments into smaller increments. Like if the payment was for $100, they would try to put through 10 $10 payments. Which means 10 more nsf fees. They can add up very fast. When I was going through my pdl mess a couple years ago I think I had something like 30 nsf fees in just 2 weeks. As long as you have sent your letters out saying you revoked authorization, you can fight the fees. WF is hard, but it could be done.

The calls will start once the pld's realize their debits are being returned. Then it'll hit. Sometimes it takes them a while to catch on. In the meantime, they're going to keep hitting your account. That sucks. Some of the pdl's will start on you as soon as they get your letter. Just depends on the pdl. But expect it. Be prepared for it. Be firm with them. If possible, try not to take any of their calls. Communication via email or USPS only.

anyone heard of 300 payday - they keep sending me emails - but I think they are affiliated with another payday company I used in the past like Sonic, Global, etc. - one of those -

 I thought you meant something like "Why not use that name since a name doesn't matter since they're illegal anyway"!! Well, 500FastCash uses "500". Maybe they do only lend 300.00. I don't know. I swear, I read something about them. I did a seach, but can't find anything.
I can see the light now. Thanks Goudah. My mind is now at ease.
