Payday Loans Help! I cannot afford to pay all the loans

I have 6 payday loans online. I also have 2 locally in stores. These two I have put on payment plans but I cannot afford to pay for all of these. What can I do?

I'm new on this site. I have about 5 Internet PDLs and 2 store ones. I had to close my bank account due to fraud and now the online ones have not been able to collect. I have contacted the stores and am working with them. One of the net PDLs called my job today and told my boss that he was an internet fraud investigator on his way to my job.

I reside in IL. The ones that I can remember off hand are:

Cash Direct Express
Nationwide Cash Advance
Zip Cash
The Loan Shop
Cash Transfer Centers

Help!

less, hold on! Don't worry! No one is going to "come and get you". There is no "investigation". Who are your internet pdl's? And what state to you reside in?

Okay. I'm posting your state pdl law for you to see what I'm talking about. It seems as though you've gotten yourself some illegal pdl's. That's okay. This works on your side; however, the illegal ones are the really ugly ones when it comes to harrassment and using illegal tactics to try to collect "thier" money. Your state does not allow rollovers/extensions. This means every dollar you have paid them should go towards the principle amount of the loan. No illegal fees are allowed. Your state does not allow criminal action. This is good, as your bank account is closed, and you should be fine. Now, right now - and I mean NOW - I want you to type up a letter revoking any wage assignment you may have signed with Cash Transfer Centers. All you need to do is type up a short - to the point - letter stating "I, (state your name) revoke any wage assignment I may have signed with your company, your partners, or any affiliates." Make sure you put their pdl name and address and phone and fax and any other information on the letter. Type your name. Do not sign your name. Send it to them NOW. Fax it if you have a fax number. Email it if you have an email address. But, place it in the mail also. Keep a copy for yourself and give one to your payroll person. Do this NOW! Cash Transfer Centers may try to send a wage assignment to your employer telling them to take the wages out of your paycheck and give it to them. Please, do this now. Then come back and post to us how much you've borrowed from each pdl and how much you have paid back so far. Do not break it down into "fees". Just what you borrowed and what you've paid so far. Do the letter revoking wage assignment now!

I have loans with united cash lenders, GFS, interim cash, onestep cash, 500fastcash, AIP, rapid cash, 2-power funding, national money store, payday ok, cash transfer center. By the time mine and my wife checks it the bank everything is about gone. These loans are all due next thursday. Most of these are only $200 - $300 loans. Most of the roll over automatically and I pay just the interest. There is no end in sight.

I pm'd "less" to pm me back regarding "less's" situation. I have to distinguish between the two! That's one hard thing about these threads. Others will post also, which is fine, but it gets confusing! Especially on this one! I don't know who I'm talking to! I'll see if "less" responds to my pm. Then we can figure it out!

Cannr,
I didn't mean to confuse you. I was calling you "sunshine" for all of the help you offered me yesterday. I'm lessohappy2. I responded with my Internet PDL info yesterday from The Loan Shop - Cash Transfer Ctrs. I worked today so I'm much later getting back to you.

less, oh my goodness gracious. You have been ROBBED! I'm sooooo sorry this has happened to you. ROBBED! Okay, let me get over my initial shock here. Your bank account is closed. These people can no longer access your money. Thank God!!!! You have 2 store fronts. I am assuming you're working out arrangements with them? As they are licensed/legal and you don't want to get into any trouble. Criminal action is prohibited, so you won't get hauled off to jail, but stay on the store fronts "good" side. Let me know if they're working with you. Now, for the internet pdl's. Lordy, lordy, lordy. I'm so,so,so glad your bank account is closed. Sorry about their luck. Here's what I've come up with. And this is NOT including the "legal amount" for your state of Illinois. These are illegal pdl's, so I did not factor in the maximum fee allowed by your state. I only used the amounts borrowed and amounts paid. You need to only pay back the principle amount of the loan. No fees. And, by God, you've paid these people 10 times over. Here's what I've come up with:
Cash Direct Express borrowed 300/paid 590/overpaid 290
Nationwide Cash borrowed 400/paid 1395/overpaid 995
Zip Cash borrowed 400/paid 975/overpaid 575
Loan Shop borrowed 300/paid 1558/overpaid 1258
Loan Shop borrowed 500/paid 0/SCREW THEM
Cash Transfer Center borrowed 400/paid 0/SCREW THEM

You've done business with Loan Shop (illegal) previously. You've so overpaid it's totally sad. The second loan you have with them - I personally would write it off. You've overpaid them by $1,258.00. I think they can "eat" the 500 you have with them now. You've done business with Cash Transfer Centers previously (illegal) and I'm sure they charged you outrageous amounts of "interest" on the other 2/3 loans, so I think they can also "eat" the 400 you have with them now. I have dealt with Cash Direct Express (GECC). I think you can get a PIF with no problem out of them & demand a refund. They can try coming off as playing hard ball, but if you word it right, they'll probably refund you the overpayment amount of $290.00. Nationwide Cash you can probably get a PIF out of them (as you overpaid by $995.00). I haven't dealt with them, so I don't know about getting a refund although you certainly should. Zip Cash I know people have gotten PIF from them; however, you overpaid by $575.00. You need a refund. You're new, so I'm assuming you haven't sent letters, filed complaints, etc. Am I correct in assuming this? Because, honey, we've got to do this.

Oh my God!!!! I knew this. I was just in such a bind I didn't know what to do. I need to start with writing the letters. I'll start with the first information you gave me to file complaints right? I guess I'd better start by signing up with your service. Man, my head is spinning!!! You have no idea how much your help means to me. I gotta get this right so I can help somebody else. You must be an angel. Each and every one of you! Maybe my embarrassing situation can help someone now!!!

less, just respond to the posts. We can walk you through this. You're okay because your bank account is closed. Too bad for these nasty illegal pdl's that have robbed you blind. We need to get you to send some letters out to your nasty illegal pdl's and also to file some complaints. Would you like help with this?

less, the first thing we need to do (after re-reading once again!) is get you to write a letter to Cash Transfer Centers regarding revoking any wage assignment you may have signed with them. Illegal company notorious for sending wage assignments to employers. Wage assignments are voluntary on the employers part; however, most employers don't know this and take money out of your paycheck and send it to these illegal idiots. We need to do that letter, okay. You need to cover your butt. Please post and we'll continue.

I have a loan with cash transfer center. I have put a stop payment on the drafts that are supposed to come out this week. I am closing my bank account as well. I do not recall signing a wage assignment with them I live in Texas and I was told that wage assignments are illegal in here. They cannot try to assign my wages without my written permission, can they?

guest, since you have a loan with Cash Transfer Centers, send them a letter revoking any wage assignment you may have signed with them. Just do it anyway to cover yourself, since they are known for pulling that. It'll just take a minute & it'll help you in the long run (maybe). Just be safe. The illegal pdl's aren't going to report you to the credit agencies. They are illegal companies. If you do ever notice something on your report and it's an illegal pdl, you can dispute it. Highly unlikely, but with pdl's, you never know. Please do the wage assignment revoke letter. Send them a copy, keep a copy, and give a copy to your payroll person. This will just make sure you are covered.

Guest, because most of the ipdls are illegal they don't report to the credit agencies...and if by chance anyone doesn show up you can dispute it. I had 10 and none of them are listed on my report in the last 3 months of defaulting.

Just go ahead and do as Cannr suggested...cover yourself and get your letters out. We can help you through just about anything that turns up.

Some PDL's are very difficult to work with. Sometimes,( if they are taking debits from your account) PDL's will leave a phone number, right after the name of the PDL, on your bank statement. Might sound funny, but, that's how I 'tracked down' some of mine..with some of the PDL's, I had, I would try to e-mail OR call the number, that was on the application via the Web. If the e-mails din't work OR the numbers were ONLY automated. Look on your bank statements..numbers might be there.

Cannr, I'm sorry to be so long responding. Work has taken me away. I have starting writing a letter to the Loan Shop but I do need some help. Again, some creep is calling my job. He has been profane on the telephone and definitely harrassing me. I have called the number on my work caller ID and then called information in Winter Park, FL. It is not a company but rather is unlisted or a private phone. How can I get him to stop if I don't know where he's calling from? In the meantime, I now have Arrowhead Investments calling me at work. Will this ever end?
