Received docs from USFast Cash via mail... HELP!
I just received a copy of my electronic loan agreement with USFastCash, with my electronic signature but absolutely NO cover letter nor did they send their audit or licensing number for the State of Florida.
I'm quite a bit nervous again! I sent them a certified letter revoking everything but I've not received confirmation of receipt. They are not licensed in Florida AND even if they were, they are in clear violation of Florda law!
What do I do now? I didn't expect to hear from them again, especially by MAIL! Am I nailed to the wall again with these people? Can anyone shed some light?

Sheyl - take a breath and try to calm down..I know that must have really shaken you up to see something actually come in the mail from an IPDL..most of them won't even respond, so it must have been a surprise for you.
Have you reported them to your state's AG yet, and filed a formal complaint against them for lending into Florida when they are not licensed there?
Also, if your electronic loan agreement has a voluntary wage assignment clause, make sure you take a copy of your letter (the one you sent to them, revoking the wage assignment) to your employer to be sure your bases are covered.
Just an aside..I reviewed the Florida list of licensees for PDL companies - what a list! The interesting thing was that MANY of the companies listed were very Indian sounding names - Patel, Nihmdi, Rakesh, and some others I can't remember how to spell. I have nothing against people emigrating to the US to start a business, but I can't wait until ALL PDL companies are put out of business - it seems this is a business that is TOO EASY to start up with very little cash, and make a killing at!
shey
shey, my friend! Do NOT let this shake you up! USFastCash is not licensed/legal anywhere. Not Florida, not even in their own "home state". They are a total joke! So they sent you your loan documents. Hell, I have mine sitting right here! Does that mean that they're legal? No. Yes, there's my "electronic signature". And??? They are not licensed, which is why they didn't send you anything stating that they are. They are totally lending illegally. Put the stupid loan documents aside and let them collect dust. You can set them here with mine if you like! LOL! As long as you've filed your complaints with the agencies, do not let this shake you up. They're playing their little games with you. You are not "nailed". Nailed by what? An illegal company that sent you documents in the mail? No.
Thanks, Cannr, Suebee...can you tell me where you found the list

Check your state's contract law. Some states contract law will say that only the illegal portion of the contract is void, not the whole thing. While most state's will say that debt is uncollectible, some state's laws are gray enough that not paying anything just because the company isn't licensed can get you in a whole lot of trouble.
Sheyld - This isn't the case with your situation. I just wanted to put this out there in case someone was reading it and thought the contract was void because the company wasn't licensed in their state. Many states don't even require the company to be licenesed in their state, just any state.

All states require a PDL to be licensed. forget that paper they sent you. they fcfan not enforce an illegal contract and would not darwe appear in any court house trying to do so. Clean hands people. if you are making illegal loans you are breaking the law. you have no recourse. the court will not help the PDLs.

While all state's require licensing, they don't necessarily require the pdl to be licenesed in that state. Quite a few states will only license companies located within that state.
And there hasn't even been a court ruling yet that says internet pdl's must follow the laws of the state they are lending in. That area of law is very gray. It is not as black and white as you are making it.
niniDC
niniDC, until you know the law, please stop giving your "advice". You don't even know who is licensed, who is illegal, where pld's are prohibited or not prohibited. Until you have researched and found out the pld law for the state, pdl, and individual, do not post. Like I stated in another one of your posts, each case is unique. We go by facts and laws. Not just your opinion.
