Consolidating my growing list
I had a bankruptcy after the death also. Been 3 years.
I am getting nowhere with payday loans which take half my check or i have to continually renew. Extra money down the drain. Where can i get a loan to pay that and credit cards, which are all smaller credit limits due to above problems. I work full time and pay rent. My kid has college loans, but couldnt support herself all summer with working even. Broke me more. We both are bad off. She is a full time nursing student and we both need a fix. Banks wont loan after my ordeals. I am in a rut. Now i have gone in emergencies to putting jewelry i need back up for hock. Whats next? Shoot myself, and my kids wont get anything when I die.

First off I'm sorry for your loss. Now take a deep breath and let's break things down in smaller chunks. I've been there myself when it just seems like you can't take one more thing and you have nowhere to turn. Breaking it down makes it a little easier to see the light of day. My experience is with PDL's so let's start there. What state are you in? List the companies, the amount borrowed and the amount paid (including all fees). This site has tons of very helpful people and someone will be along to give you some advice. Once that chunk gets tackled will hit the next one. Hang in there Ok?

speaking of banking-co-signing for kids
I see where people had interesting banking problems.
Mine is unreal. My acct. suddenly had money being removed from it with no letter, note or indication of why until I called them. They said it was another bank doing it. Call them as they couldnt help me with the situation. In all, they took out $1400 and ended up paying me back all but $750. why?
It was my daughters acct at another bank when she was only 14, I co-signed her acct. I never thought twice about it over the last 5 years. Then, she overdrew and they found me and paid up her fees, her od fees, her overdraft itself and zero'd out her acct and left mine in the hole to where I could not recover it.
I had no funds at the time and they sent me to checkssystems, not her...it was her mistake. I could get nowhere with that one. Moral is: do not co-sign your childs checking account unless you remember to remove your own name when they turn 18.
SO, basically, i was punished for her actions, even though she is now 21. How about that? Talk about crap for luck. Any wisdom here?
