The Payday Loan Tango...
I am in a similar situation with others regarding the payday loan problem..Too many loans, and not enough $$ to repay them. I am continually 'extending' the loans and it has got completely out of control to say the least. Plus, the payday loan companies I have used are all internet-based and the fees are absolutely rediculous! I don't know the first step in getting out my situation with payday loans. Any insight anyone can provide would be welcome. I am at a loss, and my financial problems are getting worse and worse....help! Thank you.

Welcome to the Community sirjeanzie :D You certainly are not alone!! That cycle keeps us going until we don't know where to stop! If you can tell us the companies you are dealing with, amounts borrowed, amounts paid and the state you are in, we can help. According to state reugaltions, laws differ from state to state, but alot of internet based loans are illegal in most states. Give us some info-no personal info please- and we will direct you in the right direction! Hang in there, there is hope!!..KAren

Cash Net USA is licensed and lending legally in your state, so you will want to work out some payment arrangements with them.
Route 66 is the root of all evil. Do a search on this site for them. They are pure evil.
The other 2 companies I'm not sure of. They may or may not be licensed. Utah has very friendly pdl laws - Friendly to the pdl's, not the consumers.
You will want to consider closing your bank account. Please read this thread:

It has some important information you should know before you close your bank account.

I had one with united cash loans and they didn't appear to be licensed in any state.
Here are the Utah state laws regarding pdls: http://www.debtconsolidationcare.com/paydayloan/explain-pdls-laws.html
Wow! They really are friendly with pdls in the state. I would first try to contact them and work out payment arrangements. I can tell you, though, my experience was that none of my ipdls were willing to work arrangements until I was in default. UCL was a little difficult to work with, but were willing to settle for a lump sum equal to the principle as long as it was paid by moneygram. Good luck!
