Did you actually take out a payday loan? If not, you definitely need to take Mike's advice above and take this to your bank as a situation of fraud and have them return the money to your account.
If you did in fact take out a payday loan, if you'll let us know what state you live in, who the lender is, how much you borrowed & how much you've paid, and whether the lender is internet or storefront-based, we can offer you some advice on how to get out of that payday lending trap.

ever private
This is just like Ever Private Card. They did that to me. Apparently these places advertise on pdl sites. If you hit a pdl site and request a pdl, you're "automatically" signed up for this "other service". I caught the debit on my account and went straight to the bank. They had put it through as an electronic check. Luckily I caught it quick enough (the next day!) and they were able to reject it. I had NO CLUE who they were. It wasn't until afterward I found out and started my fight with Ever Private Card, which accomplished nothing - as they say it's nonrefundable. But, that's okay. My bank rejected it and blocked them. They didn't attempt again. You need to get to your bank ASAP and have that reversed off. It was an unauthorized charge. Please try to do it quickly, as some banks have a "time limit" with which they will reverse/dispute unauthorized transactions. Did they do it with an electronic check or with an ACH debit?

Some of the PDL's have a small clause, that by agreeing to the terms and condition you also agree to be debited for some service. In most cases, to agree to this service is bundled up with agreeing with the terms and conditions. Also, since you give the PDL your account info, even if you do not get the loan, the service is still going to be charged on your bank account. It is a scam, and in some cases there is no PDL behind it, they just hide their "service" behind PDL application, but with no intention to actually give you a PDL. I was once charged for "Authority ID", even though I actually did not click on 'agree to terms and condition". I just clicked continue without checking the 'agree' checkbox, yet, they still charged me. I hate people like that, they make my blood boil. There's not enough insults to describe them.

Tabitha,
You need to check your checking account over the last 30 days and see if there has been any small deposits. They usually only give $200-$300 on you first loan.
But if you see that there was no deposit then I would contact your bank and tell them it was fraud, that you filled out loan papers on-line and there was no loan and they are now taking out the fees.

this happened to me in my payday loan days. i disputed it and did get the money back though it took awhile (plus my bank account was closed at that point so i had to get a paper check from them, i was so paranoid to cash it! but luckily it did clear and for the record i did not cash it at my bank as i was worried they could somehow get my new banking information that way).

I got the same thing trying to apply for a pdl. They charged me $99.95. I caught it the day it went through, and filled a police report. The company told me that I had to file a police report and fax them over the police report in order to have the charges refunded. Unfortunatly that would not work fast enough for me as I had bill payments steadily going through. I went to the bank and talked with them about it after filling my police report. The bank stopped payment and is debiting my account. They have my actual account number so the only way to keep from being charged any more is to close this bank account and start a new one. The 8009728094 number that is pput with the charge is a legit number. However you may be waiting on the phone for 30min or more. The customer service department is very unfriendly, and keep telling my bank and myself that they sent me an email (IN WHICH I NEVER RECIEVED)! If they would have sent an email stating that they were taking out that much money, I would have never authorized it. My bank told me not to ever use online pdl as most of them are not legit. Go to your bank as soon as you notice the charge and ask them to stop payment! You may also want to file a police report just to make sure everything is covered!

Or, fill out a formal dispute with your bank. I do hope all of you realize you are compromising your account if you leave it opened? These illegal lenders will never go away, as long as they have your account information it will NEVER be safe again. It's no different them giving your account information to a criminal and asking them not to use it. It would be in everyones best interest to close out their current accounts and open a new one at a totally different bank.

Yeah, I guess it's the PDL. I worried about their safety but I was desperate. I get tons of spam emails with offers of additional money (text messages, too) so if they ever sent me an email about this charge, not only would it get caught in my spam filter, but I wouldn't have read it anyway since I literally get hundreds of them a day. I caught it before it cleared and my bank couldn't do anything about it. I blocked my account, opened a new one, filed a police report, filed a claim with the BBB, fled a complaint with the Attorney General's office in Arizona and am keeping my fingers crossed that this isn't going to happen again. I still have the payday loan to repay but I'm afraid to give my info to the company for fear they'll draft me again. These people are criminals.

Complaint Description:
This company fraudulantly took money from my checking account via ACH without my consent. My account # was obtained when applying for payday loans. If you google their phone number it comes up with complaints going back to 2007. They used to charge people $49.95, then $79.99 and now $99.95 ... seems like they keep going up with what they take out of peoples accounts over the years until they get shut down. I just got off the phone with Brenda from there and she says she cant refund my money because it has to be cancelled within 6 days of purchasing. and like everyone else I did not purchase it . And of course they wait 10 days to debit your account so that by the time you notice they signed you up without knowing its too late to cancel. This needs to be stopped. They get our information when we are on-line looking for payday loans
Your Desired Resolution:
This company needs to be shut down. There is endless complaints online over and over again of this company taking money from peoples accounts without them knowing. I dont see how this comany hasn't been shut down yet? It is clear and obvious fraud. I would like a full refund. I would hope this can be stopped so they can stop taking advantage of people. We go on-line for payday loans because we are low on cash and they have the nerve to withdraw $99.95 from our account without our consent. And in most cases this overdraws peoples account resulting in unnessary overdraft fees and bounced checks. Please put a stop to this company. Thanks

I have no idea who the Platinum Services. I was debited twice on the same day for the amount of $99.95. This is roughly 200.00 out of my account for something I have no idea what its for. I will file a Fraud Claim with my bank. Now I am forced to close this account and open another one for safety precautions. This is robbery.

I too had an attempted debit of $99.95. I did not have sufficient funds, so my bank charged me a $35 fee. I called Platinum Services and after being on hold 15-20 minutes, finally spoke to an rep who confirmed I "signed up" via a payday loan application and the $99.95 was nonrefundable. I asked to speak to a Supervisor, and of course there was none on site. She took my phone # and said the Supervisor would call me tomorrow (never did). I asked for my account to be cancelled, she claims it is now cancelled...but the $99.95 charge is non-refundable. I was livid and told her what they are doing is illegal. She claims that since she has my info (name/address/bank), it is proof I signed up for the service. I alerted my bank and am now waiting for the chips to fall.

I am recently a victim of this scam. I called 1-800-972-8094 and got a hold of a guy named Chris at this AC Platinum Service. I asked him why money was being taken out of my bank account when i have never heard of them, he then stopped me and said " We work with 50 or more company's that could have taken this money out of your account". I then asked him if he could tell me which company it is then, he said "I will have to get your name & address to locate which company it is". I gave him my name and address then things got funny, he then said he could not find me under the name or address i had provided. He then said "Well the only other thing i could think of to help you with this problem is for you to give me your bank account number and that will help me find which company is taking this money and maybe you will be reimbursed". I wasn't going to do that so i decided i was done talking to him and hung up. I would just like to know has this went on anyones credit report?

It won't do any good because they are an illegal payday lender that goes by numerous names, if you stop payment they will use one of their alias's and debit your account, there won't be any end to this unless you close your account. It will never be safe again. not only do they have your account information, but so does every other Internet criminal they come in contact with, close your account!
Close Account
It is very necessary for you to close your account, however it is not necessary to change banks. They will not be able to access your new account number unless you give it to them.

hello, i am in the military and took out two personal loans from a place called pioneer services. The loans were both for $1500, and they take around $356.00 every month. i bought it from North Carolina and this company is store front and online. I have paid roughly $1015.00 so far but they wont let me lower the payments or ne ting and they said if i did lower them myself i wuld be sent to a collector. Then i got a call from them saying if i didnt pay a certain amount by a certain date they would send the cops to my doorstep and i would be arrested for fraud. Any advice??

Well, you can't be arrested for owing a debt. If you are active military, then they issued you a loan illegally. You need to research the payday loan laws regarding active duty.
