Single mom looking for help

Ok, im a single 21 year old mom. Recently i got myself into a mess with pdl's. I have 3 storefront loans and 7 online loans. The 3 storefront loans are not a problem and have even offerd me payment plans, but the online loans are killing me. My bank account is now in the negitive of $1,400, my bank told me there is nothing they can do to help me me with the constant withdrawls coming out of my account. My biggest concern is taking care of my son and if this mess is going to turn down a legal route with me ending up in court and possibly jail or something. I need help, to get this monster under control, can anybody out there help me ?

Your bank should be able to put a hard debit block on your account to prevent these theives from taking any more money. Or at the very least, freeze it so that nothing goes through.

You need to list all the loans you have the original amount borrowed, and amount paid to date. Also the state you live in.

That can't take you to jail sweatheart. If pdls are online, mostly likely there are illegal and you can fight them. Close your account immediately. If you can't close it, put a hard debit on it. Make it so only deposits can be made. Talk to the banks manager to get this done. Be honest on tell them your situation and in a lot of cases they can do something to help you out.

Please do not be so upset. You have come to the right place. Some one will along shortly who will be able to guide you. We have all been where you are. Some of us are still where you are. We are learning to fight back against illegal lenders, and get control of our money and our lives.

You're fine. You need to close that bank account ASAP. Reality check, Im 21 also and Im in pretty much the same situation. Ive been coming to this website since early last week and it has been extremely helpful. You can't let these companies control you and your finances. You are required as the good person you are to pay them back the principle that you owe. But anything over that is not legal. Check out my post (bank account closed, whats next). The people on here have helped me that much in just a week. I also have 2 other post. Just look for Stud under the posted by section. It should calm you down some. This happens to a lot of good people.

Where can i find templates for these letters they i needs to send out to the companies, and another big problem, how do i find out mailing address for them all, i dont even have telephone numbers for half of them.
Stud - i was reading your post and the stuff people have posted for you, and there was something said about them calling your job and having your wages garnished, can this really happen ? And what do i do to prevent that.

kmswick, please stick with Leah. She is in your state. She has been in your situation. She has the experience to help you. Your store fronts are the most important right now. They normally operate according to the law. Your internet ones, on the other hand, are more than likely not licensed to do business with you. I looked at the names and a couple jumped out as not even being licensed, in other words, they are illegal. Read the link goudah posted for you regarding your bank account. And Leah will be of great help to you. Keep posting questions. As you can already tell, everyone is willing to help. :D

Leah, I hope your on....
I'm getting ready to call the bank on my lunch break, they have already made me feel horrible as it is because of my account being in the negitive bc of the online PDL's that keep debiting my account, and I going to ask for a manager to get a HARD HOLD or to make my account a deposit only status, what do I do if they tell me they can't do that, are there rules or something I can refer to ?

You should not have a problem with your bank. Some members have; however, the whole issue is that you need to stress to your bank that these are unauthorized debits being made by illegal companies and they need to be stopped. Since your account is already in the negative, they're going to tell you that you can't CLOSE it. That's fine. You tell them to put a hard debit block on it immediately. If you have to, you can tell them a little white lie to help them understand the urgency. I told mine that I was working with an attorney regarding these illegal companies. That kind of makes them take you a bit more seriously. You need to speak with the branch manager. Not a teller, not a CSR, not whoever. Just the branch manager. The branch manager is the one who will work with you and ultimatly get some of those bank fees reversed down the road. Don't be afraid. Please just stress to them the importance of getting this done TODAY. Stress the unauthorized part and stress the illegal companies part. There is no reason in this world they can not put a hard debit block on your account. Do not be afraid. They may be really easy to work with, but if they start to give you a hard time, do not back down. Tell them this is urgent and stress the importance. Like we've posted in others threads, the bank can put a hold on your account with one keystroke and one second. That's all it is. Stay strong and get this taken care of.
