Just found this site: Looking for help

Just found this site: I hope someone can help me. My husband and I have gotten ourselves in to deep with payday loans. Is there any advice on how we can begin to get out. It's like robbing Peter to pay Paul and someone's gotta wait. Help....!

Hi, welcome to the forums. You have come to the right place. Please tell us how much each loan was for and from which lender. Also, how much you have paid each one so far and the State that you live in. That way we can help you determine what you legally owe.
You must close or freeze your checking account immediately so that you can breathe and deal with these companies on your terms, not theirs. Tell your payroll dept that you need to get a live paycheck for a while.

Welcome kryoung ~ As frogpatch said, you have come to the right place. Many of us have been and still are in your place, but are managing to get ourselves out of the payday loan trap. Please provide the information that frogpatch has requested. It makes things a little easier to help when we have everything and that way we can also point you in the right direction.

Welcome to the Community :D One thing I might add is, if these are store front loans, be careful about closing your bank account. They usually go by the state laws, and operate legally. If they are store front, I would go in and try to work out some type of payment arrangement with them. The ones on my area tend to sue if you don't work something out with them. Let us know what you are dealing with-no personal info- and we can help..Karen
