discountadvances

Have anyone gotten a response from them at all about there payday loan? I have a loan for 500.00 and paid $725.00. I send a couple e-mails,called and sent a letter and no response at all.
Thanks
Cindy

cynthia, is that the actual name of the pdl? Is this the name that the loan is through? What kind of information do you have on them? An address, phone, email? I think you said you sent them an email. I'm just wondering if they operate under a different name and that's why it's not ringing a bell with anyone.

It comes thru as Creditprotection. I asked about it before. I just can't see how these company's have so many differant names. They have a number on there wedsite and I got the address from the contract. The e-mail I got from there e-mails about renewing the loan so I'm thinking maybe there are not getting anyof it. All the other loans I have when I try to login it tells me either I'm past due ( None of them are in default untill Thursday) or just call customer service. I'm hoping someone else has some other contact for me.
Thanks
Cindy

I hope someone else has heard of them. It doesn't even look familiar to me. Hopefully someone has dealt with them. I'm sorry I can't help with it!

I have a loan with Discount Advances and my cash now. Both are managed by Credit Protection Depot (CPD). I still owed on the principal and they were first time loans so I continued to make payments via money grams. Now that I've made two payments I have exceeded the principal so I plan on telling them I'm done. You can email them at:
customerservice(at)CreditProtectionDepot.com
or call them at 1-866-645-1661 (toll free)
I've worked pretty well with them but now that I'm going to tell them I'm through we'll see how it goes.
Good luck and let me know how you make out.

Cindy- read the posts from this link at http://www.debtconsolidationcare.com/forums/about12232.html it gives a number to call. Have they debited your account? I did some research, and they seem to be a company that debits accounts for such things as paying off credit cards if you are not able, and also payday loans signing you up for things you didn't authorize. If they did debit your account, get with your bank and have them trace it back and get a number for you, and have the charge removed..Hope this helps..Karen

Good for you, cynthia! :D And at least they responded to you. More than I can say for a lot of pdl's! They will preach to you (as you know) that you signed their contract, their state law, blah, blah. But you held your ground and told them your state laws. Good job. Keep on them regarding that. They try to take advantage of people who don't know the law. You hang in there and keep us updated on your progress with them. I'm hoping for the best!
