Langhorne Debt Solutions - Does anybody have any info about them?

Does anybody have any information on or experience with Langhorne debt solutions llc? I looked into the name after speaking to a representative of 1800899Cash.com - we came to a settlement agreement in which I would wire transfer the payment via Western Union and the payee would be "Langhorne Law" per the rep. Also, a rep from Urgent Cash Advance mentioned that he has 20 clients using "Langhorne" in an email. I was curious, so I Google them.

I found langhornedebtsolutions.com site, filled out the form, and received a call yesterday. I haven't had a chance to speak to them, mainly because I want to see if anybody on the forum has any insight into this company. I don't know anything about them, and I don't want to get into any more messes. They seem legit, BBB certified, so I'm hopeful.

If you know anything about Langhorne debt solutions, your input is HIGHLY appreciated.

Thanks guys! You all rock!

Langhorne debt solutions llc is a settlement company that deals solely with internet payday loans. The owner of langhorne debt solutions used to be or maybe still is a member here, I believe. I know that kscornell has used them and hopefully she will be here later and can share her experiences with them. From my understanding you save up money in a savings account and when there is enough there, they negotiate to pay off the loans. You can do a search on here and see what everyone has to say about them and hopefully kscornell will see this and give you her input. :)

I just joined last week and they have a very good idea and I understand that one of the fine people that works there posts on this site.
I have a payment plan to them worked out and am
currently waiting on them to call each one of my pad day loan people as I now have 8!
It is such a relief.

I am asking Langhorne about that through the e-mail.
The phone number is 866-529-0217.
I was told to close my checking accounts.Make sure that my savings accounts accepted ACH withdrawals as this is how they deduct the money from you
I was also told to be prepared for harrasing phone calls in the beginning. So far CTC has sent an e-mail this Monday to my human resouces department.
On the 27th of July was my first payment to Langhorne.

I would guess, cynthia, that the pdl's haven't been fully notified to deal only with Langhorne - probably because any correspondence hasn't gotten in the right hands.

That's just a guess though. I'm going to call them this afternoon and see what happens. I have spoken to T & C Acceptance and have my contract in hand - right now I'm just trying to decide which path is the correct path.

I have contacted Langhorne also and thought that they would take the calls as soon as they got payment. I need to decide what I'm going to do. I already got 2 Paid in full. I have not defaulted yet on any of my laons so calls have not started i just don't know how bad they will be. I can't sit here and get calls all day long at work.
Thanks
Cindy

cynthia,

The calls from PDL collectors are non-stop, all day long. The Cease and Desist letters that I have sent out have been completely ignored by these people. Well, I shouldn't say completely ignored - a few have agreed not to call me at work.

I just spoke to langhorne debt solutions and the Account Executive was very helpful and nice. He seems to be confident that they can help me. The only problem is my payments will be ~$300 or so for the next 12 months, but that's way better than paying $2000 a month in fees!

I'm still in limbo as far as where to turn for my debt solution. Town and Country or langhorne debt solutions?

I think the biggest difference between T&C and Langhorn is that T&C is a debt consolidation company, meaning they will make payments every month on your debts, and Langhorn is a debt settlement company, meaning they will wait until you have a good chunk of money saved, then they will negotiate settlements with the pdl's.

Cindy - If you do decide to go with a company, any time a pdl calls just tell them to call Company X and give them the phone number. Then hang up.

Tukk - I think that's a decision you have to make for yourself. I've heard good things about both companies, and some bad things. But a lot of that can be chalked up to people sometimes having unrealistic expectations about what will happen.

Do you have any other debt besides the pdl's? If so, I know that T&C also consolidates other kinds of debt too, so that may be a reason to go with them. But Langhorn is also a good choice, as they know exactly how to deal with these companies to get what they want.

Good call goudah, also T&C will deal with ALL of my debt rather than just the PDL's, which will be of much more benefit (to me that is) than Langhorne. That's what Langhorne is - a Payday Loan Settlement Company. That's why I think I'm going to go with T&C.

I just have to get some things straightened out with them before I can sign on the dotted line.

:D Absolutly Tukk!

Cindy - Quick Message or Private Message? If it's a Quick Message, look to the right of the screen under the search box. There should be a link that says "My Page". You can go there to read any Quick Messages. If it's a Private Message, you would click on the link that says "You have 1 new message" in the same area.

I have been with T&C now for almost 4 months now and they been a good company. If you include your other debts with T&C, just be careful they charge you 10% per year of your total balance with them. I sort of wished I did not include my collections accounts as the amount owed was not reduced in anyway. I could have handled those collection accounts on my own (and maybe settle at a lower amount) and put my pdl with T&C. Other than that, the reps are good to work with but the hold time to talk to one is rather long.

cynthia, I personally haven't had any of my pdl's call my references. I told my references to maybe expect phone calls, just to give them a heads up on what's going on. But none of them called them. They just called and emailed me. And Cash Today will probably just hound you. And your work place. Unfortunately.

It might even a while before they even start calling you. Some of these pdl's, it takes them a few weeks of not getting their payments before it dawns on them that something is not right! LOL! So you'll probably be good next week. Give them time though! And, if you're working with Langehorne, I'm sure - if they do trap you on the phone - you can tell them to contact Langhorne. Right? You'll be fine. If you get any nasty calls, just be sure and post! We can share our telephone stories! :D

The lady sitting next to me is cracking up. She know's what's going on and has got a call or 2 from him. Anyway, thanks for all your help. Atleast I got rid of some of them before I went to langhorne. Now I'm working with my credit cards also from this site and have 2 of them cut the interest rates in half. And also got my full paper paycheck ready to go into the bank sitting here on my desk. OH Happy Day!!!

Payday loans places need to be shut down. I just got with Langhorne debt solutions. These payday loans are doing everything that Langhorne said that they will do. I have a total of 20 loans. These loans was taking all of my money. I will pay some off and had to get another to pay my monthly bills. I will never get another loan. They are definitely a trap. I have done research about people and payday loans. So many people had to filed bankruptcy because of these places. I did not want to file bankruptcy but I did not know what to do. I am so happy that I came across Langhorne. Now I am paying Langhorne $700.00 instead of paying $4,000.00 a month for payday loans. These payday loans places are a trip. My loans was not in default. I call these places to try to work something out with them. No one will work with me. Now that my loans are in default and I have hired Langhorne they calling me to make arrangements. These people are ruled. I get ruled back with them. They say we are going to send your information to collections. I said please do. Mypayday loan with call, e-mail and text you. One girl slip up and said that she will have to give my account to the manager. They are not even the managers. They hell with those places. I was so stressed out. My bank account never been overdrawn. The month of June was a bad month for me. My bank account was over drawn by 1,000.00. This is when I said this is enough. I was trying to get myself out of this debt, but I was getting deeper in debt. I am going to let Langhorne work on my behalf. I have a peace of mind and have money. I am able to pay my monthly bills on time and not worry how I am going to pay my rent. They are going to tell you that they do not work with Langhorne. I tell them that I am going to pay them, but it will only be through Langhorne. I tell them if they do not work with Langhorne they need to send my account to collections because the only way they are going to get their money will be through Langhorne.

Google T&C on this site and read up on the posts. You'll also get contact information for them. I doesn't hurt to compare the two companies. You can call each one and see what they can offer you. :D

Town and Country is one of the few debt consolidation companies that will work with payday loans, both internet and storefront. They charge a $210 start up fee then you pay them weekly and they pay your debts for you. They are located in Birmingham, Alabama. I have spoken to them personally and they were so nice; however I did not retain their services as I decided to fight the payday loans on my own.

Langhorne are a bigger bunch of crooks than the pay day loan companies!

I used to pay Langehorne and found out that they would pay only a portion of what I paid to them over to the loan company. I paid more than $500 over 9 months to Langhorne, but was STILL contaced by GFSIL, who said I could have settled with them directly for half that!

Grrrrrrr!

Um, maybe you don't understand Langhorn's service . . . . They do not pay your creditors monthly. They have you save up X amount every month into a special account, and when you have enough they will negotiate with your creditors to settle the balance. And yes, it is not a free service. You will end up paying money to Langhorn that they keep.

You just have to be prepared to have the money saved up to pay the settlements they come up with. It is a good idea to try and settle some on your own and then the Langhorne cost is not as much. You will be surprised how many you can settle on your own.

I was with Langhorne and had paid some of these PDL companies many times over what I borrowed and the settlements seemed high to me. I was able to get more PIFs on my own. They did not seem to push for that.

Thanks for posting your experience, motomom! It's always good to hear from people who actually have used these companies. Like you said, sometimes (if you're up for it), it's worth it to "take it on yourself" when dealing with pdls. It doesn't cost anything as far as money goes - but it takes a lot of sweat and work! But, it can be done! Thanks, motomom!

I personally did not like the set up that Langhorne offered and I really didn't like the person I spoke with. It was going to cost me tons more than it has by doing it myself. Like cannr said, it takes time and effort but it can be done. I am not totally out of the woods yet, but I will.

No problem cannr. I think sometimes we are overwhelmed with this whole mess that we don't weigh our options and take the first life line with promise. I think the best first step is to contact each one and see if they will work with you and if not move to plan B if you have one.

Langhorne is actually what brought me here. I live by Langhorne, PA and had payday loans so came here to find out more about it. Since they are prohibited in my state (NJ), I realized it was cheaper and easier to tackle it on my own. plus i was turned off by the person i spoke with at langhorne.
