I received a very hostile, threatening, beligerent call from one Eric Samuels who claimed to be from this law firm of Lampher Associates. I spent the next 35 minutes being transferred to different "repesentatives and supervisors" in a call center claiming to work for a law firm. They hung up on me twice, and actually laughed at me over the phone. I say all this to connect them to NPA (National Payday Advance), who also left me a message to call them back, and was unavailable because the office was closed by 4:00 PM PDT! What do you think my options are? They (the call center) is threatening to take me to court.

I received two calls today from someone saying they were from a law firm representing Advance National Payday...they told me they had a case against me for this violation and another and for check fraud..I never even received a payday advance from this company...All the dates they had were bogus and I could barely understand what they were saying there was so much noise in the background. What is up with this company...

I had some foreign law firm call me today and yesterday telling me that I took out a payday loan and never paid it back. I never heard of the company National Payday Advance before and I never received any funds into my bank account from them! I dont know how they got my information and I am worried that I need to close my bank account and contact the police before I am a victim of identity theft. Is there anyone out there who is going through this also?

I worked as a collector for this company. Had a falling out with the owner (Principal), Gregg Rubin (Coral Springs, Florida). He fired me and when the company went under, the bastard listed me as the principal. Do a search for Gregg Rubin (or possibly greg) and you might be able to nail him. I'm certainly going after him. He's ruining my name!!

I received a call from this company saying that I borrowed money froom them and did not pay it back. They had all of my banking information. I did not receive any money from them. I called the number on Monday morning because this iswhen someone was supposed to come and "pick me up" for court. The numbers no longer are working numbers. I will call the BBB today to file a complaint.

Just got a few calls from some "law firm" collecting for National Advance Payday. It sounds as if they're calling from a call center in either Nigeria or India. The caller introduced himself as "Henry" something, and alleged that a suit had been flied against me in a county that isn't even CLOSE to where I reside. When I asked questions, he couldn't answer any of them. I chalk it up to a scam, but need to know how to get my numbers removed from their call lists...what jerks.

I just got a call, just like all the rest of you... and they have me so piss.. saying that i borrowed 400.00, that i never borrowed, and said that i never repaid it back... and now i owe 1000.00 dollars... they said that i was going to have to go to court, and that they will report fraud on my credit nad that they will bring this information to my job... they got the information from anything that we applied for online... we really have to be careful people... these people who called could barely speak English... they were very rude... and really didnt want to give me any information... they said that the payday came from a company call Advance National Payday Services... I need to call the police on this company... we all need to go to the police...

I received this same type of phone call and work and at my home. Very threatening. They were asking for my husband, but actually gave me ALL of his security information without me verifying anything with them. Something that I don't believe anyone is supposed to do. They said he borrowed 300.00 on a "soft sell" loan (all done over the computer and no papers to be signed). Stated that after the loan time was up they tried to take the $300.00 plus another $300.00 (which was the loan repayment amount) and is was declined. Now because of late fees, legal fees, etc... the repayment amount was now $1500.00. They advised that we just need to go to court and plea guilty to "theft by deception" and pay the money now. They refer to themselves as "Lanphier & Associates". There is a Lanphier & Associates which is a bankruptcy law firm. When I called them and asked for some of the people who called me from the "other" Lanphier & Associates, they had no one working there by any of the names and that I was probably the 50th person who had called them that day asking the same information. They advised me that it was a scam and to not release ANY information to them under any circumstances. Try calling their bluff at the "other" Lanphier & Associates. They laugh at you, hang up on you, yell & use profanity. Its rather frightening knowing that they have all this information and I feel as if there is nothing that can be done. The harassing phone calls are really getting to me too. I have called the local authorities, but they really can't do anything - they can't catch these bastards!

I called back a couple hours later to see if i could get someone different and the same bastard answered the phone again. He wont tell me when they supposidly deposited money into my account or when i was to pay it back. The damn guy wouldnt even tell me where to go to court he just keeps telling me good luck in court and he will se me there. I think I might take a trip to my cousins house in florida and do a little sport hunting for vacation.

No disreepect, but you tell them to kiss you know what or go to you know where, which comes first, they deserve it. I just got my first call yesterday and I let them know right away that I was not having it, then they called me at work, that didn't work, so they called a friend of mine and that really did it. I am out for what ever I can get to make these answer for they are doing to people out there. And there are actually people paying them a lot of money too. How mean can some people be and these jackasses aren't even citizens I bet.
