cashnetusa

i have a question on cashnet usa. im paying them off on the 3rd. and they said they only charging me what i loaned instead of over 400. due to oregons new laws. and i also asked them to send me a email stating this and that my acct would be pif. they told me they cant do that til they take the money. my question is can they do that

Just for documentation, I would email them and state what the agreement is. That once you send them xxx dollars and the payment is clear, the account will be marked paid in full, and they will not contact you again. I have done this with my pdl's. I put in plain english what we agreed upon. Make them respond. You're not asking for a PIF before you pay. You're just wanting them to agree that once you pay them, you will get a PIF. I haven't had a problem with that. If they're legit, they should be able to say "yes, that's the agreement." If they don't do it, I would be extremely leery of the whole agreement.

Be extremely leery of this group. They are licensed in most states but the communication between their own people is awful. One might tell you one thing and the other will deny it was ever said. If you pay them get it in writing first that it is a final settlement and pay them by Money Gram, Western Union of Money Order. (preferred) Do not let them have your bank or credit card info. I am having an awful time trying to pay them. They send a settlement notice that is expired and when I call they deny sending it. Then they want my bank info on the phone then and there or no deal. Do not trust them!

Please listen to frogpatch! He has been dealing with them for awhile & they run him in circles! Try to get something via email in writing that they are going to mark your account PIF once your payment is received. I would hate to see you send in all your money and then them come back after the fact and claim that owe more.

I would say that you will probably be okay . . . . Since they are a licensed company in Oregon if they try to come after you for more money later they will get hit with a fine. They know that. They know that you know that. They aren't going to mess with you, and if by chance they do, they can deal with an investigation and they will probably have their license yanked.
