My friend from the NY AG's office called me back from his cell phone today and left a message. I called him off and on all day on his office number but didn't connect. I'll try again tomorrow. I did send the AG another online email asking why the same office is giving different support????

I forgot to say I had a forceful message from ARM left on my work voicemail which I chose to ignore for now since I just refiled against them with the BBB.

Then I came home to a notice of a registered letter form GECC. I had them marked as a PIF - either they changed there mind or who knows what, I'll go pick it up after work tomorrow. And I had a letter from the State of NY Banking Department suggesting that I get a consult with a lawyer.

So, I decided to get cracking back on MTE. Those yahoos responded to BBB saying they were not Paycheck Today they were MTE Financial. First off, even BBB has them listed as a DBA of Paycheck Today. I have emails showing them using the same address and to top it off I had another loan with MTE so I fired them off a BBB response asking for a refund of $1,060 from my overpayments with Paycheck Today and MTE Financial (Cash Advance Network)


mperez! Honey! Fight them! MTE Financial (my thorn) has denied being One Click Cash, US Fast Cash, and Quickest-Cash-Advance with me. Yes, they are all them plus more. They lied to the BBB regarding "who they were". That's okay. I, like you, responded to the BBB firing off that they denied being who they are, blah, blah, blah. They then responded saying I was "confused". Damn good thing I kept every single piece of documentation that I had on each and every one of them. I printed out EVERYTHING and sent it in with my complaints. That way, the agencies could see with their own eyeballs what the hell MTE Financial was trying to do. They are so stupid that they don't realize they aren't covering their tracks. Idiots. Your letters might be "good" news. Who knows. And as for the letter from GECC, if you need contact info. for them, let me know. I worked with one of the supervisors over there. Once you get their letter, if it's ugly, let me know. Keep fighting, mperez. They are ignorant and will eventually get caught.

Good luck, Mperez! Keep up the good work and don't back down. Yeah, you definitely need a refund on that one; you paid those yahoos so much. You and cannr especially inspired me to keep going and I finally got my money back from AIP. WWC is being a tardy ho though. I think I will need to send them another email!

joshua, did AIP send you a refund???? Ya Hoo if they did! :D AIP, I think, is afraid once the BBB contacts them.

ald, sorry to hear the BBB wasn't too helpful to you either. But, you're on the right road, my friend! Send it in to the AG. And give them whatever documentation that you have. These people will get what's coming to them ONE day!
