Begging for help in Texas - need them to stop!!!!

I have read for what seems for days on those who have been fortunate enough to stop these PDL companies for what seems is illegal. I live in TX - which I think the law says they cant keep charging me "interest" when I have more than paid the loan off?? Correct... I have the following PDL's and I am drowning trying to figure out how to stop them.. what is a "paid in full" and how do I get them to give me one?? I have the following.. can someone help??? please??

Geneva Roth (also says loan point USA - original loan 300.00 have paid 1260.00 in fees and extenstions...

Zip cash Original loan $500 have paid 500.00 have paid 1110.00

You have paid way too much on the loans. At this point, you must claim for a refund instead of sending more money. Call the pdl companies and make them aware of your state laws. I am not sure if they are licensed in your state. If they aren't, inform your state attorney general and the BBB about their illegal business and request for investigations. You must get your account marked PIF along with the amount that you have overpaid.

I know for a fact that ZipCash will refund and mark you PIF. Send them the Texas Statutes regarding usery and that roll over are not allowed per state law. I had no problem with them. They refunded me and marked me PIF no longer able to loan status. Like I want another loan from those idiots. I live in Texas as well, just keep up the good fight and you will win.

kriis, you have SO overpaid these people. Have you done anything with your bank account yet so they can not debit it any longer? That's your first step. Also, just check to see if they're even licensed. If not, they're operating illegally. They have SO taken too much money from you. Get your bank account closed/blocked/froze whatever. Do not let them have access to your money any longer. Do that ASAP or they will debit you until you're dead and paid $100,000 on a $300 loan. They are amazing. From what "guest" posted, apparently ZipCash might be easy to deal with. I don't know about Geneva Roth. I've read some ugly stuff. But you need to prevent them from taking any more money out of your account ASAP. Please post if you have any questions!

Kriis...unless you have a very good relationship with your bank and they can block the ipdls from debiting your account, you may have to think about closing the account and opening another. Most ipdls will not stop debiting until they can not get any money 2-3 times in a row...so if your bank can't block them this will create nsf fees on your account. I would go in and talk to them and tell them you are revoking the ipdls right to debit..it's a little embarrassing to explain but very important to make your bank understand what can happen. Then we can walk you through the letters to send out revoking their righta and emanding a paid in full status and a refund..

I did not have luck with a refund from Zipcash but did receive a PIF, they were extremely easy to work with.

I, on the other hand, have had horrible times with Loanpoint. They refuse to mark me PIF or make arrangements, just continue to tell me either to moneygram or debit...UMMM, I CHOOSE, NO TO BOTH OPTIONS!!! Let me know if you need contact information on either, I have addresses, phone numbers and email addresses to both.

rd, are these loans overpaid? Or the principle paid? Are they internet or store front?

Rderden - You will need to write them letters. This probably won't work with the legal storefronts, but with the illegally operating internet pdl's you should do this. You will need to send them a letter certified mail stating the laws of Texas. Someone can give you a sample letter if you'd like, I know Cannr has one she's sent to a few people.
