Stop the pay day loan cycle?

Tim, welcome to the forum. Many of us here have had the same issues with payday loans. Get one, take out another to cover the first and on and on until there are so many fee's coming out of your pay you can't pay the rent or buy food.

If you could please list what loans you have, whether they are internet or store front, the amount you borrowed and just the amount you paid back so far. Don't bother with fee's etc. Just what you borrowed and paid so far. We also need to know what state you are in.

This is the best place...you can get advice and support from so many people here who have been where you are.

I have loans through ace cash service and out back bucks..are they legal in Indiana, if not what should I do?

I don't think either are legal.

Secure your account first and then send them letters stating they are illegal.

You only owe what you borrowed. Any fees or charges you have made apply to that amount.

You need to change it to you information and state laws.

i have taken out a parent and student load i believe for my school.. but the payback is to high for me to pay.. how can i stop the payments? i just started classes on jan 7 n the financial aid lady told me i would have to pay until 6 months after i graduate... but my mom has to pay 1000 on may.. she doesnt have that kind of money...how can i stop it? by not attending?
